Why can bank in recent times close?
Question:If someone doesn't have ample money to pay their debts, their sports car and house get reposessed and sold surrounded by auctions and stuff which help discharge their debts.But during the 1930s depression, banks weren't competent to cash everyone's funds when people be hurrying to withdrawl all of their money, so the bank just closed down and tons of folks lost their life reserves.
And like Enron. People lost their retirement money and energy savings.
Do they bring back paid wager on? If not, why is that fair to get people provide their house and car to payment back debts when if the hill can't pay, it can freshly close?
Answers:
Protections put in place during the Depression extend a lot of protection to depositors surrounded by insured institutions, most accounts up to $ 100,000 that are in insured institutions are reasonably safe, it is even possible to hold more than $ 100,000 spread over multiple accounts in one institution, but you own to be careful to follow adjectives the legal niceties.
A point just about the banks during the Depression be that the government declared a ten-day "mound holiday" during which no withdrawals be allowed and this is the period within which many culture and businesses lost out because they were powerless to access their money then even if their edge remained open afterward. Banks closed down because they made loans on things which lost pro, so they had no bread and little to sell to acquire any cash. Banks own never just sit on the cash they lift in, they loan it out, so if the assets they loaned the money to acquire become useless, they have zilch to return to depositors.
As an additional aside, general public who lost money on Enron generally lost it because they owned stock surrounded by the company (and in some cases, be not able to put up for sale the stock when it started losing value), other creditors should eventually get at most minuscule a partial refund of their money, doesn`t matter what Enron owned of value (including its signs) have or is being sold lately as in any other ruin.
The morals of this tale are 1) one should know what the risks are whenever you invest and 2) don't put adjectives your eggs in one picnic basket,
a 1% return on something you can retrieve is almost always better than a 10-20% return for awhile and the loss of the entire investment
Other Answers:
bank can no longer just close approaching that. the government have put protections in place for consumers.
Hi Debi,
Because of the mass exodus of account holders surrounded by the 1930's, the FDIC was created to insure that depositors will aways hold access to their cash..
The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) is a United States governing body corporation created by the Glass-Steagall Act of 1933. The vast number of mound failures contained by the Great Depression spurred the United States Congress into creating an institution which would guarantee banks, inspired by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and its Deposit Insurance Fund (DIF). The FDIC currently guarantees checking and money deposits in bough banks up to $100,000 per depositor.

What are my probability of getting ripped stale on eBay.?
Question:I would like to kind a $5000US purchase on eBay. The way it works is I transport him the money (complete stranger) and he sends me the goods. His profile is lawfully new as is mine.Answers:
consent to the buyer beware. You can do some homework. Does he have any feedback? positive or negaive? can you purchase item through Paypal? that will confer you certain rights, but here may be dollar ammount limits. Ebay have a safeharbor that allows you to resolve many problems next to buyers. Is the item underpriced to coax you into buying it, or is it in vein with other vendor? Is the seller insisting on bread in the letters? Don't do that! Not traceable! I suggest you take your time. I've bought some pricey items here, never had a problem, I've also asked various questions to the seller, including for more photes, to authenticate the item being what it is planned as, shipping costs, and more details. Earnest sellers want to please you and show you exaclty what they enjoy to offer.
I hold also had a few items that be not up to specs. Communication with the seller, in a non-threatening but assertive route usually can get the problem solved, but on a few occasion I had to use e-Bay's and PayPal's dispute resolution centers.
Additionally, I rate any ebay experience, and if it is not acceptable I reflect that. I report foul language and wrongdoing to try to prevent it from happening again.
I've be very blissful with ebay.Good luck!

you (and anyone) enjoy a 1/1000th chance of man ripped off on ebay. I utter go for it, if yoy find scamed sue them using that name, address, and number.
Never send money to a stanger (especially that much) short a guarantee. If you use Paypal, there is some coverage/insurance, Ebay have some as well, but I don't contemplate it covers $5000...Better to check.
Make sure his feedback is high, beside little/no negatives.
Make sure you've spoken to him on the phone (i.e. you ring him) when dealing with that much money.
If you are distrustful and cover all the basis, you should be OK.
I buy and market on eBay and LOVE it! Its my addiction. I have however to be ripped off but i purloin all precautions. Your best bet is to uncap a paypal account. Its safer. Try it out and own FUN!
Source(s):
MY VERY OWN EXPERIENCE! Your taking a big chance that you can't afford to lose at. I would categorically check more than his profile. Get references and proof of address and phone number. Be tight-fisted, there are scam on eBay. Good luck! I wouldn't do it....
nope, dont do it. the singular way you do transactions on ebay for an amount over $10 is if they own a lot of obedient ratings. at the absalute least a couple hundred obedient ratings. they use pay-pal. the price is good, and the shipping isnt route outta control. and they dont do anything shady like asking for 5k up front.

suggestion from someone who has bookish a leson trading on ebay, me
Personally I wouldn't deal next to a new e-bay vendor ... there are like mad of safety net though ... make sure you walk through PayPal or use a credit card ... do not send a check ... sermon to someone at e-bay if you have concerns ... they enjoy a great customer service dept that customers seldom use!
If I considered necessary to e-mail 39 pictures to someone and I put them surrounded by a hulking washed out envelope, could I newly....?
Question:would just put the required amount of stamps on the envelope and drop it of within the mail box, or would i own to go inside the post department and pay here? if both of these are incorrect, how should it be done?Answers:
It would probably be easier to go inside the post department and have it weigh, so that you know exactly how much it costs. I dont see why you wouldn't be able to only just put stamps on it, but there is a unsystematic that the postage might not be sufficient and it would basically be sent back to you anyway.
Other Answers:
You could lately put alot of stamps on it and hope its enough, but it would be safer to budge into the post office, enjoy them weigh it, and pay the postage.

How much is the political affairs allowed to garnishee your wages for and is it sour web or gross.?
Question:Married with 3 children. Penalties salaried to EI. Fined $ 11,000.00 for overpayment of $ 3,000.00. They are now garnisheeing 60% a month.I can't afford it. One paycheck have only 85.00 moved out
Answers:
I used to do this for a state agency (our maximum was 25%). State and federal garnishments are lower than different regulations. In both cases, the statutory basis is your gross, not your lattice. Beyond that, it will depend on exactly what entity is garnishing you for what purpose.
But every entity with the power to do this have an appellate procedure you have to follow within the case of alleged poverty. In many cases, the untested or adjusted amount will be base on your "disposable income," which is NOT the same as your network check, since the net check may copy voluntary expenditures such as Christmas Club, charitable donations, etc.
If the US discount is far stronger than the rest of the world,why is the US so contained by debt?
Question:in canada here reducing their debt and its dollar is matching the USAnswers:
The US is within debt because the system is full of waste, special interest groups, we dispense to much away to other countries, politicians are buying votes and support by giving their support for projects that are not needed close to the multimillion dollar bridge to nowhere project in Alaska and etc... If politicians would spend our levy dollars like it be coming out of their bank vindication we would not have this problem.
Other Answers:
Bush.
Because we rely too much on importing of commodities anymore instead of producing our own, and the producing our own would generate more tax revenue which we could later use instead of going into debt.
It is called discouraging business management.
More and more we are selling to ourselves and buying from the rest of the world using our credit. We also have a fruitless habit of allowing other countries to "erase" their debt to us.
Because they consume more than they produce! Canada is a resource based country and near the oil prices immediately they have a big excedent. (number one exporter of grease to US).
I think a Canadian dollar is resembling 70 cents still I think.Other economy are also strong.
The US is in debt for one and the same reasons ancestors get into debt. : Borrowing and buying, trade deficit , etc.
Source(s):
opinion It's call the "trade deficit". We are importing agency more than we are exporting. Essentially, we are buying more than we are selling. There is an equilibrium where what be sell is equal to what we buy, and thus far, we are contained by the negative. You can thank our reliance on foreign grease and the Iraq War.
A reason we become so strong economically after world war II be because we were loaning out huge sums of money and getting interest on it, enriching us, merely like a mound makes its money from the interest it make from loans. Answer,, its all a rag trail... the whole world is dependent upon the world wall now.... we borrow from it,,, and use IOU's set up on futures contracts inside our on amout of sales we can construct..
The only item that is keeping the US afloat,, is we enjoy more stuff to use as barting power ...
IF the stock market folds,,, anywhere ,, surrounded by the world,,,,,
Everyone in the world will be broke and a churchmouse.....it will domino everyone....
Source(s):
read read read Actually, the rationale we are in debt is BECAUSE our reduction is strong. The United States has powered historic other nations surrounded by terms of utility creation by creating a liberalized free-market economy next to respect for the rule of law.
The result is that we introduction low margin merchandise and export high fringe goods. The trade deficit just tracks gross trade, not margin.
The rationalization deficit is the evidence that we are making maximum use of our good credit to generate maximum profits.
Put surrounded by other words -- we are borrowing money from foreign countries at an interest rate of 5% and then selling them stuff where we engineer 20% gross margin, while they put up for sale us goods where on earth they have 0.5% gross edge.
In the end, the dollars enjoy to come back into the U.S. -- and they do -- through the purchase of our senate bonds, which keeps are interest rates low and stable (yes, I know, interest rates seem to be high and unstable right very soon, but that is with the sole purpose relative to the insanely low rates of past years. Relative to other coutnries and the U.S. within previous decades, our interest rate environment and our economy are solid solid solid.)
Source(s):
Read "Running Money" by Andy Kessler Because most of the ancestors in the U.S. are mathematically challenge unlike other countries such as Japan and Germany.
We have more products in the U.S. because of heap which makes us an "Economic Empire". But the majority of Americans are unqualified to budget, leading to a world of utter disorder. This also applies to some of the U.S. government official who have no concept within being resourceful and respectful to the U.S. debt problem. They make the acquaintance of every opportunity to get free money, have a flutter on investments (wall street), and swindle in hill account scheme because someone is always within cahoots with another, as a result prime to the economic Armageddon.
People may brag more or less doing math, but when it comes to getting tested on math, everybody seems to be in motion towards being remedial. But when it comes to reception money, hardly anybody contained by the U.S. is stupid at all. Greed lives on.

What is the definition of customer service&?
Question:what is the inbound & out bound call center?Answers:
In bound appointment center is taking calls and outbound telephone center is making calls. Customer service is probably the most stressful livelihood out there. I'm working right in a minute and I'll tell you, I pinch an average of 90 calls a year from life insurance policy holders complaining going on for their policy. The definition of customer service is helping the customer out as much as possible and answering any questions they own using all of your resources, adjectives sense and honesty.

Customer service is when someone actually answers you ask correctly and really does something for you.
Customer Service do not differentiate based on Inboun or Outbound. However, SLAs may be at variance for Internal Customer and External Customer.
customer service sole purpose is to address questions and complaints, basically complaints, that customers have next to the business's product or service. inbound call centers are the hub of customer serviec as they are the frontline surrounded by receiving and address customer concerns and complaints while also trying to solve them. the outbound portion of customer service is generally resigned for those problems that the customer service reps be unable to fix or attend to and have need of the advice of someone more qualified to address it. Usualy things similar to tech support or consulative solutions are used for outbound facilities.
