I shop at both places but Wal Mart is manifestly the cheaper of the two. I agree with everyone else that the clientele at Wal Mart is pretty low on the genetic code but I don't see Target as exactly high-ranking class either. And I find the general public working at Wal Mart to be far more friendly than Target. If you are comparing apples to apples than it only make sense to buy from the cheapest. If you are comparing entirely different lines of products than you have to be the intermediary of which has the better point.
