Question:I mean, if the shop/merchants can discount it, only just discount right away, why they prefer to use "rebate"?Answers:
an immediate discount is other better than a rebate.
some merchants try to "cheat" by taking their time in giving a rebate...or "forget" to and departing the responsibility to the individual to make a claim for the rebate.
that's outright ridiculous and borders on fraud!

Of course given a choice, anyone will prefer a direct discount as compared to a rebate. But a rebate is still better than none right. So most merchants provide rebate with some strings attached similar to being a associate, providing the rebate only after xx time of time, all this ability lowering the cost or benefitting the merchants in other ways.

If you want accurate customer service, shop at Whole Foods Market...they are nice. It still exists, but they have pices of sh*t working within that field!

But everybody has a voice e-mail system, for our convenience! I think it go out of fashion, along next to bubble-skirts and muscle-shirts.

Perhaps it is the consumer's fault, for person so apathetic. Customer service is very expensive. That's why companies prefer to use network sites and automated telephone systems to fiddle with as much routine customer service as possible. Many companies are starting to offer different tiers of customer service. For example a hill might offer you "premium" customer service but afterwards the fees they charge you might be higher or the minimum vindication balances might be sophisticated, etc.
People complain about poor customer service but it get worse because people are not feeling like to pay more to seize good customer service. When ethnic group shop for the absolute lowest price lacking consideration for the level of customer service explicitly one more vote for poor customer service.
My favorite splash is when you go to a trellis site and it's down and it says something similar to "to better serve you this site is unavailable right now". Excuse me. I don't believe it still exists. Not just has SERVICE to the customer died, but any form of REGARD for the customer at all seem to be dying.
