2) They rely on others to do it for them (for free) instead of hiring the (huge) staff it would require. And when you do report problems, the overworked personage responding often any doesn't understand the report, blows it past its sell-by date (because not enough general public have complained however to make it important), or make a snap decision base on their own interpretation of eBays' often too-vague policies. This, too, is not going to transform.

3) The internet gives relations (and even companies) the idea that they can "hide" at the back their computer monitor where they are out of danger, because they don't have to obverse their irate customers and deal next to them one-on-one. Unfortunately this is a useless system. As a purveyor, I have have items removed for the silliest reasons (I once planned an old cut throat blade only to hold the listing removed as buyers may feel 'cut throat' is a suggested use for the item!)

This system is open to verbal abuse as the decision maker who remove listings are not the most thorough as they can only devote a few minutes per report due to numbers.

The customer service is total bum also. But at the close of the day, where on earth else could I get 10 days exposure to 10 million people for 50p? You hold the rough with the smooth! Well - First article is money - more people looking/ better programs cost money.
