How can you promote better communication between sale / marketing & IT / programmers surrounded by a software firm?

Question:The programmers "don't want to be told what to do" and can't deal near any changes to the specs they develop -- the sale guys are not getting software they feel is competitive but are also fragmented within how they provide info to the tech team on desired functionality -- both sides speak different language and it is the ever-present battle of trying to seize them to work together.... any advice from personal experience is much appreciated. Thanks!

Answers:
carry together at a bar for some BS time, you will be surprised at how much work communicate will be included and how many accepted wisdom will be tossed around when its a more informal fun environment.

Other Answers:
Try and have some sort of career rotation. It will really help respectively person get the message the needs of the other. Of course when they do exchange job, they will need some mentoring from respectively other so some good troop building will occur also.

Pick the person who is the most influential on the programming side and after the leader of the sale team, and enjoy them meet surrounded by the same room to discuss the specifications for the subsequent release.

Have releases, where you assign publication numbers to software, and the shipped release means getting the required functionality. Introduce some rewards, which could be as simple as participant, for having the release shipped in good time. If this is a soft ware firm, then i would hold to guess that everyone has a P.C.? That manner that most of your communications are probably through e-mail and stuff. Which is great for speed. Also makes a nice paperless system. But if documents are "lost" to interminable stored PC files; are people lost within too? Sometimes I think that we be in motion to far to simplify our life and we forget that we are not robots. Com'on, start have real personal meeting where individuals start to remember that we are not just and e-mail address. We are alive! Renew the Human side of business.

Does this compensated survey site acutally work??

Question:http://www.angelfire.com/blog/discussion/

Answers:
The rule, as always, is to stay away from those that ask you to reward before you can capture these surveys.

Legitimate market survey companies such as Pinecone Research conscript members base on demographic characteristics -- e.g. mothers of babies 0-12 years old -- and will distribute surveys of products and services targeting this demographic group. Pinecone Research, however, pays individual $5 per survey -- you're definitely not going to be rich beside that. They can give you anywhere from 1-5 at most surveys within a month.

Other companies simply ask you to answer as many research as possible, and you don't earn anything of late the chance to win at a raffle (which I find lame).

The article "Earning Money from Surveys" provide a short index of legitimate bazaar research firms and contains explanations of what to look for when joining surveys (and weeding out the fraudulent ones)

How long does it help yourself to to obtain an ATM card from the hill after you decree one?

Question:

Answers:
Like 4 weeks I think.

Other Answers:
Seven-ten days.

7-10 business days My bank give me a temporary card right away...I get my permanent one I don`t know couple of weeks after

Depends on the wall. Some take as long as 7-10 business days, which does NOT include weekends, Saturdays & Sundays. Some embezzle as few as 3-5 business days. If you're needing it sooner, some bank will issue a temporary card from the local branch. Otherwise you can write a check out for bread at a teller fanlight. You can also write the check for $20 or more over your purchase if the store allows it. Most grocery stores do, so does Wal-Mart, Target & K-Mart.
