What is a fair-minded price to ask for house sitting?

You are current so the price should be low ,like $25 a light of day should do. I personally seize between $50 and $75 a day. It depends what I own to do. If just feed dogs(or cats) its $50 but if I have to do things similar to take out their trash on trash sunshine or mow the lawn next I get $75.

Yes, he can convert to lolly but it will take a fundamentally long time. There are SEC regulation on how much he can sell on the get underway market at a time. I suppose he could convince a private investor to buy his shares but not remarkably many people/companies own that much cash to spare. If he in recent times burned it, the total money supply would go down somewhat, but the M2 in the US is much bigger than his 40 billion, so it would hold a very little legitimate effect. If he burned it publicly, it would affect things more from the "panic" that would ensue.

I don't think it would own much effect, assuming it's all done instantly. The tabloid is simply a promise that there is gold ingots somewhere to back it up. Now if he be to convert it all to gold ingots and heat it to vaporization, that might be a grounds for concern.
Sorry musicman but the USA dropped the gold ingots standard along time ago. U.S. currency has helpfulness simply because the gov't says it does. Alot of Bill Gates money is tied into MSFT stock. However, I've hear he sells roughly 1 million shares a quarter which translates to going on for 25 million dollars a quarter give or run a couple mil. He still has roughly a billion shares vanished over. If he were to trade it all at once it would severlely depress the price of MSFT but would not affect the overall discount. MSFT has roughly speaking 9 billion shares outstanding so he holds 1/9th of the float. That is a lot of stock!
