Unless you hold the knowledge or resources to generate a prototype yourself, your going to need a company to aid you. However like the previous poster said if they are the ones that advise you not to get a rights then i'd be intensely wary. There are reputable companies that do buy and sell in this but I couldn't communicate you who. You could go beside the private investors but again unless you can make it, or know someone who can what biddable will that money do?
