My Job/My Boss
My boss is P.R. Director, I choice we didn't share our office. She other eavesdrops on my phone call, then tell me I should have used specific words or phrases that are useless. I get this job cuz I'm right on the phone, she can take her call herself if she wants me to agree like her. Also she refuse to take responsibility for herself, she tell me to do something, then if the owners vote it was a desperate idea, she literally say she never told me to do that (like she REALLY forgot, I don't think so)
I certainly like my boss, but if I have to pick one thing that irritates me most, it's when she doesn't follow through on commitments she make (usually because she's too busy...but still).

why is price of gasoline going up base on rumors and things that haven't happen all the same?

Question:

Answers:
The market is other forward looking because it's not profitable to wait until it in reality happens to copy the price. For example, stock prices don't move much when the Fed raises interest rates by the expected amount because the stock prices already hold factored in this incline in prices. Stocks run up and down on earnings rumors adjectives the time. Gas isn't anything but another tradable commodity.

Similar things happen beside dividends. The stock price doesn't drop when the company actually pays the dividend. It drops on the ex-div date, the final day you can buy the stock and achieve the dividend.

Anyway, there are plenty of financial reasons for the increase contained by the price of oil. Most of them agreement with supply and constraint. Supply from the OPEC side, where they are limiting production to make higher the price. Demand from consumers and their gas-guzzling SUVs to raise prices some more.

Other Answers:
because OPEC will tilt prises on anything so they can get more money into their pockets
because the world revolves round rumors stock flea market governments royals
It's not going up because of rumors. It's going up because these grease companies aren't kept in check and can pretty much do doesn`t matter what the hell they want with prices. If everyone stood up against them I am sure prices would drop indisputable quick. Say for instance 3 days a week noone bought gas.
It's call greed...it messes up everything :(
Greedy oil companies and government.

Agree with your second bit Tim Tim Timm...It will take something similar to a boycott to make an impact and form the voice of the people hear.
A rumor(?) like that the US will bomb a voluminous oil-producing country like IRAN will skyrocket the price of grease. If so the level of world all-embracing production will go down and emergency will outperform supply and hence the price will go up. This is something to be precise needed to be taken into consideration when the future price of grease is set.

Another way of putting it; if a roomy rockband is belived to be playing in a small venue and this rumor starts going, the price of the tickets will skyrocket as very well. The old story of constraint outperfomring the supply...
The real basis that gas is going up, is the value of the Dollar is going down, gratefulness to the deficit G.W. created.
$$$$
