will any body give an account me what exactly are the mutual funds?(plz b within simple terms,i m not commerce student)?
Answers:
Mutual funds are a group of investors, that usually don't have satisfactory money at one time, pooling there money together to maximize their buying power and next to more money they buy many different stocks within many different companies so that they restriction their risk of loss by not investing in one company( or putting your eggs contained by one basket) Do to the fact that they pool their money the mutual fund can next afford a professional fund manager to pick which stocks, bonds, or money market to invest in. Also in that are many types of funds, some in proportion meaning they invest within all three, stocks, bonds, and money market, simultaneously and some invest all contained by stocks, or bonds, or money markets individually. Anyway to be precise another big discussion. I hope that this helps you out.
Remember mutual funds will never own the big returns of individual stocks but there wont be the losses any.
Average gains of 8% to 12% over the go of the fund should not be too hard to go and get.

A mutual fund buys and sells a bunch of different stocks, and you buy shares of it.
Are organized union biddable or fruitless for workers and employer?
Answers:
It's really a matter of perspective.
For the force:
- They can be good because of collective bargain, which can help them grasp better wages, set overtime pay rates, better working conditions, better insurance, and modest working hours (even for over-time). They also get the aid of the union when times step bad and so contained by trade for paying union dues, they achieve unemployment benefits and can collect state severance besides.
- They can be bad because recompense rates are levelled according to experience and expertise. There's no unpredictability for personal negotiation regarding payment. So union member don't get a destiny to maximize their wages. They also miss out on working lots of overtime to help boost their paycheck. They also own to pay association dues, which take $ out of their paychecks automatically (like it or not). The human resources also have to do business with the suspicion of a strike or walk-out, which usually means that they don't work while the association negotiates on one point or the other (even though the coalition still pays them a stipend while they're on strike, but it never measures up to working wages).
For employers:
- Unions can be correct because the employers get hold of a steady stream of capable workers that hold to show up for their paycheck. If the workers don't show up, all the employer wants to do is call up the grouping and a replacement worker is sent over right away.
- Unions can be bad because they're forced to negotiate package benefits and wages for their employees. This can termination up costing the employer a lot of money. They hold to deal next to the scrutiny of union stewards & leaders everytime there's an injury or firing. In short, they return with pushed around. They can also be bad because at ANY time the federation can decide to budge on strike because they didn't get something during their later round of negotiations. This can raison d`¨ētre an employer to lose lots of money while they try to get non-union replacement workers (also call Scabs).
Other Answers:
good for organization but not for employers ( the discouraging ones)
They're somewhat correct for employees, because they can bring back great paychecks, but it cripples the employers to the point where on earth they sometimes go out of business, or hold to lay off a ton of human resources, like you've see recently near GMC and Ford, not to mention the airlines.
GMC said that their average worker that was surrounded by a union made $64 an hour. This included associates who do nothing but sit around and spin on lug nuts on tires. The employer cannot afford this for too long, hence this is why cars cost so damn much - they have to jack up the price to earnings their bills.
Usually apt for emplyess, and not so good for employer.
(More protective rules about hand, employee benafit, minimum neutral salary etc)
well when they are strong, they are well-mannered for employees, and CAN also be righteous for employers too if they are run responsibly.
UAW is a sinking ship and I believe that most unions are anchored to UAW. As long as the country make it so easy for the greedy corporations to operate contained by foreign lands, the unions and society will suffer.
$64 an hour? Thats a lie, unless you are counting everything close to benefits and everything else- in that suitcase, your average non-union worker makes 20 bucks an hour! Max take-home pay for the average UAW employee is smaller quantity than half of what you said. I agree it is still a great paycheck, but try working on the flash for GM for 8 hours a day- the majority of us that work for GM dont have those mythical cake job I always hear about b4 I get in in that. AND as far as the unions driving companies to collapse thats a farce too- most of the locals are all cave in to anything GM asks of them- the union is giving up everything and bowing down to GM close to prison wives. The reason GM is lay everyone off is because they are moving adjectives their factories past its sell-by date shore.
before I started working at GM, I thought "how frozen can it be?" but when I got at hand and learned the psychological strain it puts on nation, the physical strain it does to the body, and never knowing what time you will get out until a partly hour before you win to leave- I can see that if they didnt pay what they do, NO_ONE would work for them. They regularly screw the body however they can- if it werent for the unions- GM would have be out of business long ago. They have no model how to run a business with at ease employees.
dmbangel, I will you worked at my plant before you step spouting off nearly watching a conveyor belt- those cars u drive dont put themselves together- on my job I enjoy 53 seconds to put 8 different parts on a sports car. we build 500 cars per day respectively shift, I used to think like peas in a pod as you until I actually get into my job- many culture dont make it 30 days EVEN FOR THE MONEY- most race can not hack it doing a line brief in my plant. I would bet you would quit after a week, simply by your attitude something like it. Also, you get what you wages for- it has be proven time and time again- every time GM sells out to a contract company, the cars suffer and so do the consumers- you pay cheque someone non-union wages, they will not care nearly quality, unless the charge IS a piece of cake. Dont blame the unions for corps moving to other countries, because if they one and only paid us 8 bucks an hour, they would still move to retribution them 7.99/hour- its all give or take a few greed with those corps- AND if it werent for the money that the automobile industry and other confederation type jobs- this country would have fell apart years ago.

This is really an opinion grill, but I think most citizens would argue that organized unions are worthy for employees. They help out to raise the foot rate, as well as benefits and working conditions. I guess that you could read aloud that employers would consider them unpromising because somebody has to pay envelope for all of these improvements.
Also some race think that union are bad. For example, tons people, even coalition workers I know personally, mull over that the Teacher's Union is too strong--that is that many teacher gain their tenure and then slack past its sell-by date and get remunerated extremely well because they own tenure (which if you didn't know is a protection from being fired unless the tutor did something really bad).
It's all a situation of opinion.
I feel its fruitless for both because it separates the company from the employees and creates an unnecessary contest to get anything done. Unions are severely good for organization they protect members from things approaching getting layed off... How ever a short time ago because you work for a company that has a association doesnt mean you are within it... After you begin work you enjoy to sign up and sign paper work and stuff. even after you've signed everythig you still aren't secure until you are sworn in up until this point you are not protected by anything

Boyfriend and father... both member of union.
There are good and bleak sides to both.
Good for employees when everything go right, but there are sometimes confederation dues, and if the union decide to strike, then you hold to strike with them and will not bring paid during the time of inoperative.
It can also be good for employer. Some companies WANT their employees to be a cog of a union, and it is a mandatory entry to work for them. I do not fully understand why, this is however. You might want to do a scour on the subject.
Ok, I wasn't as helpful as I have hoped I would be.
Yea, it's great for personnel because they get $25.00/hr to sit on their *** adjectives day and survey **** go by on a conveyer belt. It's also great for workers when they keep asking for too much **** and their employer can't afford it to them because they continue to lose money thru wages, allowance plans, and uber good benefits. Why do you infer all the job are going to India? Instead of paying someone $25/hr plus full benefits, they can pay someone $25/day to do the VERY SAME mission and they don't give a f.uck roughly speaking benefits they are just merry because they can feed their family. Large companies that have a sizeable staff of skilled employees inevitability a blanket contract for all those folks. If the company were to try to contract near each individual it may be a nightmare. The company and coalition are constantly bartering wages and benefits to the positive aspect of each. I kind above average wages, but I am a highly skilled influential craftsman. I cannot be replaced except by an expert who would make more than me.

What is a stock loan tax?
Answers:
I'm not sure if you're referring to margin or short selling.
If you're referring to side-line, investors can borrow money from a broker to buy more shares of stock. They have to wage interest on the money they borrow, and that's generally a pretty significant levy.
As a stockholder, sometimes you can lend your shares to short sellers for a duty. They have to afford you back your shares if you want to liquidate your position, though.
