How can I find management grant that I can use, short buying a book that tell me how to?

Answers:
Go to the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) http://www.cfda.gov and Grants.gov http://www.grants.gov - these are two sites created by the federal political affairs to provide transparency and information on grants. Browse through the listings and see if you can find any admit that would support a for-profit venture.

Even if you buy books on "how to win grants" or list that supposedly have information on grants -- adjectives of them are mere rehash of what CFDA has, albeit package differently. But still the info is the same - scarcely any grants for starting a for profit business.

Most of the federal grant are given to specific target groups with specific requirements (e.g. minority business owners involved within transportation related contracts emanating from DOT - Grant#20.905 Disadvantaged Business Enterprises Short Term Lending Program

Grants are also habitually given to non profit groups or organizations involved surrounded by training or other similar activities (grant 59.043 Women's Business Ownership Assistance that are given to those who will create women's business center that will train women entrepreneurs

Other Answers:
Yes
Absolutely: lots of great deals at great prices & terribly convenient. I only yearning they'd pay their human resources better.

My only concern is they better spawn sure they're not doing business with overseas business sweat shops, underage or underpaid workers, & not supporting anti-American countries.
Yes. (If by us you denote shareholders like you and me beside at least $50 to buy one Wal-Mart share)
Absolutely, their efficacy helps to extend things at lower prices, which enables those to buy more with alike amount of money as before, which increases people's standard of living.

Plus over 1 million those are gainfully employed by the corporation, plus countless others who are employed by supporting organization.
Just look at the sales information. If people are buying, it finances that they value what Wal-Mart offer. If they stop buying, it means they don't.

Contrary to popular view, it is the consumers that steer the ship in the discount. They hold the ultimate power: the propensity to refuse an exchange.

Wal-Mart sale are over 200 billion per year. It's pretty obvious that consumers approve.

Oil Companies profits?

What do you think more or less the oil companies turning 9.5 billion dollars surrounded by profits last quarter and the prices are still going up, plus zilch is threatening our oil supply!

Answers:
I cogitate that they do not deserve the millions of dollars in charge breaks they are recieving this year and we should organize a mass call for in to the irs consumer promoter office and emergency fair and equitable treatment why should middle to upper middle class work long hours single to turn over most of our paychecks to daycare providers and medical expenses we make to much money to qualify for assistance and consequently a significant part of what is departed over to the irs and if you work overtime you get kicked up into a highly developed tax bracket and bear home even less income , which decrease our standard of living and savings for financial shelter and the wealthy individuals who own grease companies are profiting at the expense of our living sstandard by charging unreasonable amounts and our government that supposedly represnts the general public taxes every gallon and then turns around to afford the one group who needs no financial assisstance huge due breaks and our children suffer because public education and strength care funding own been cut and the single group who seems to paying through the proboscis for it is the working class what if the government give back what it took from schooling and healthcare and didnt give the grease companies any undeserved tariff breaks oh yeah that's right our government serves the powerful population and their lobbyists while the middle class pays exhorbitantly for a government that does not represent their interests

Other Answers:
its plain GREED

i think unless ethnic group are willing to stand together and do something no concern the cost we are stuck in a world depended on grease. They have us they know it and they are abuse the power they created. Gouging the consumer, and there is nought we can do about it. Dammit.

I hate it. I reflect on the government should craft their own refinaries and make their own gas and never buy from the grease companies again. Less demand = lower prices.

Actually, the grease companies profits (as a profit margin, or percentage of their costs) isn't adjectives that high. Remember these corporations are paying billions contained by income taxes, and have operating costs surrounded by the billions.

If these companies don't show a profit, they can't continue to utilize the 100's of thousands of people they engage OR continue to put money into research and nouns to try to decrease prices and lift efficiency. WE SHOULD NEVER DISCOURAGE COMPANIES FROM MAKING A FAIR PROFIT. Our total economic system will collapse if companies aren't allowed to form a profit and grow.

The profits either progress toward next years costs, growth, paying dividends to their stockholders or taxes.

The reals misuse here is the salaries that the executives trade name. (but just remember that if they do lower their salary, they'll make an even bigger profit!

How do you integer an estimate for drawing an apartment?

I have several apartments that I obligation to give a bid on and I own no idea how to start.

Answers:
IF DOING IT YOURSELF ....I WOULD RECOMEND COST PLUS....CHARGE THE APARTMENT OWNER FOR ALL MATERIALS AND YOU CHARGE HIM 20.00-30.00 PRE HR. TO DO THE LABOR

Other Answers:
test or estimate the square footage of all walls smaller amount any openings. The paint can will notify you how much each can will cover somewhere within the instructions.

I would assume you would involve to measure the walls and ceiling of the rooms you are going to paint to get the square footage of paint needed. Don't forget the trim. Find the paint you involve and how many square foot a gallon will cover. Then multiply the number of gallons of paint by its price and that will give you the price of the paint. Then you enjoy to figure out how long it will pocket you to do the job. Multiply the hours it will cart by whatever you want to receive as your duty. That will give you your cost of labor. Then you have need of to add the the rest of the equipment you will want: paint brushes, drop clothes, tape, etc., etc. If you want to manufacture money on the paint add anything percentage to it you would like. 5% 10% doesn`t matter what. You don't have to do that if you don't want to, but remember it is objective to be paid to hold to find, order, pick up, etc. merchandise. If you hold someone helping you, make sure you put in their labor rate as well. If they are not as skilled as you are later you need to charge a smaller levy for them. Anyway, add adjectives that stuff up and it should give you a apposite idea on what to charge. After you own done this a half a dozen times you'll receive real biddable at it. Start with the Math - work out wall/ceiling areas so you can see how tons cans of paint you requirement. Then add an extra can, plus a gallon of turpentine. Add 1/4 the cost of adjectives your equipment used - your paint brushes/rollers, covers, etc (so you use them four times then replace them).
Work out adjectives these as costs.

Then work out how many hours it take to do the job. Multiply it up by your hourly rate.

Add them together and include tax.

Hope that help Find out how much area a 1 gal bucket of paint will cover within sq ft. This is the amount of coverage. Find the size of the walls to be painted "length x height"=Area of a wall, Total the walls in one apartment and afterwards multiple by 3.
This the required area to cover, affix 10% for wastes, touch-up and such.
Figure out the cost of rollers, brushes, mask tape, tap etc.
Figure out the cost of the paint for example...
1 gal of paint covered 550 sf and cost $18.50
2400 sf/550 sf/1 gal=4.36 1 gal buckets. Round up by atleast 10%
4.36+.436=4.796 so get 5 gals or 1-5 gal bucket.
5 1 gal buckets*18.50=$92.50

Add the cost of materials and later pick a cost for you time. That is the total estimate.
