I would nee at tiniest lb250 per week for rent etc that is not includind entertainment I dont progress out to work myself but i don't claim any benifits either bar child benifit so we live quite comfortably as a people of 4 (and a cat 'n' Fish) off my husbands wage of roughly something like lb400 a week give or bring.
everyone is different. Benefit for the single person over 25 is lb59 per week and from that you enjoy gas, electric, water rates, TV licence, insurance etc. I am single feminine working full time at take home lb170 per week and clear lb100 to rent and council tax and the food etc. one individual, claiming benefits, is meant to live of 45 pound a week.
