$2000 for retirement...?
This question is similar to one simply posted...I have $2000 that I want to put away/allow to grow for my retirement. I'm in position to put it away for 25 years. Won't touch it, NOT even for emergencies. I newly want to forget about it until I'm within my 60's.
Please offer me some proposal that I can go out and do on my own, a bit than doing it with some sort of financial consultant.
Thanks for your comfort.

Put the money into a Roth IRA.
Once it's within the IRA, buy shares in 5 moral companies, that'll be around for 40 years, like Coca-cola.
When you get hold of paid dividends, buy more stock beside them.
Definitely a Roth IRA - but you need to join to it every year, max'ing the annual contribution.
