Finance: What would you christen it?
I owe about $1,200 dollars for a tuition class and $1,400 to the department of revenue, both are not charging interest. Would you call it a debt or would you appointment it a liability?Answers: Debt and liablity mean like thing, interest rate doesn't come into play.
Both you are surrounded by debt to it and you best know you are liable to pay or something will ensue.
Roth IRA's and 401k plans...can someone please assist?
I have 2 question.1. Is it possible to transfer doesn`t matter what I have surrounded by my 401k plan into
starting up a Roth IRA? I left the company where on earth I left a 401k
a few years put a bet on, no longer with them. So I'll hold to track
them down and see the stutus of the account.
2. What is the minimum amount required to start up a Roth
IRA?

Answers: 1. Yes, you can verbs from a 401k to a ROTH. You will have to wage taxes on the transfered money (since the 410k is pre-tax but the ROTH is post tax).
"Beginning in that year [2008], you'll be capable of make a one-step conversion from an employer plan to a Roth IRA." Restrictions:
-The distribution from the employer plan have to be one you would be allowed to roll into an IRA (yours is allowed); and
-You have to be eligible to do a Roth IRA conversion (which system, for 2008 and 2009, you can't be married filing separately and your income have to be below $100,000).

2. Some ROTHs can be started with $1,000. Many own a $3,000 minimum. My favorite company in Vanguard, they own 1 fund available for $1,000 (the STAR fund); most of the rest are $3,000. Vanguard has the lowest fees within the industry and often get the highest ratings for their funds.

My advice: Transfering to a ROTH is a great concept if you believe your tax rate is lower today than it will be when you retire. If your toll rate is lower when you retire then transfering to the ROTH will stop up costing you more than it saves you.

Hmmm, at full time college, can't draw from a job - later why oh why did you sign into a contract and not just seize a PAYG?? Not very clever eh!?
Your best bet is only just not using the contract sim, and buying a PAYG to cater for your needs - failing that, ask 646 ancestors for lb1 each.

Well its intricate to earn cash minus a job, is within no way you couldn't work a couple of hours here and in attendance? If not, maybe you enjoy a skill people will be of a mind to pay you for. Or sort out revision proceedings for your class and sell them on, making it unproblematic for your classmates and earn a couple of bucks out of it.
Or maybe you can paint?
Psychology departments at university often salary participants for taking piece, that might be worth a try. The stuff they make you do is not dangerous, and you can earn a lot for purely taking an hour or two out of your time.
