I deposited a check for $350.00 and they deposited for $3,350. Will the bank catch it or is my money?
Answers: more than likely they'll catch it but if not good for you, when they go to reconcile the cash and checks at the end of the day
they'll probably catch it then
Do not spend it.
It will all be found at the end of the day when deposits and withdrawls are balanced.
That will be easy to spot.
Banks are like casinos - the house always wins. It's also not like Monopoly - so report to your bank that they made an error. They will never let you keep the money, so the best you can do is to make them feel bad and be insulting to them.
Banks don't care - money is money - and see the first line above.
Hi
watch out they will find out. Don't spend it whatever you do as they will want it back. Sometimes it can take quite some time for the back to discover the mistake but they will still take the money back. It happened to a friend of mine and she spent the money, all of a sudden the back took the money back without asking and charged her because it caused her account to go over drawn.
they will catch it... the teller probably typed it in wrong. when the check hits proof, someone will catch it. dont spend that money because you know it isnt yours.
They will catch it. All bank teller work is balanced in a department called proof. Proof will find an error that size and make the appropriate correction. Proof isn't perfect, but on average, their work quality has a tolerance for 3 errors per 100,000 documents - any more than that and dollars start quickly coming off incentive bonuses. Teller work quality actually can be 1 error per 2,500 transactions - which sounds like a lot, but there are a lot more chances for error in a teller job, and since proof has their back, the chances of an error getting all the way through the system is actually thankfully slim.
You should do what you think is the right thing to do. In my opinion that would be alerting your bank of the mistake.
For sure they will catch it. Report the error or you could be charged with fraud if you try spending it.

I would definitely suggest you bring a personal finance class. Especially since you are getting married, so your whereabouts and decisions can't only just be about you anymore, it's give or take a few both of you now. Financial frustrations are among the number one incentive of divorce, and a big spender marrying a penny pincher can be trouble surrounded by the future for you. For the sake of your nuptials, definitely do something. Put your money contained by a high abandon savings reason somewhere that has penalty for withdrawing. I'm not really a financial expert of any kind, but I would strongly suggest you look into financial planning courses at a local college, or even look into what other kind of options within are in your community.
Good luck! and Congrats on your engagement! I didn't miserable to make it nouns like doomsday! I love married duration!!
