How do I calculate this?Answers: To be precise the interest should be $982.40 (10/100 * $9824) because you didn't utter 10% per annum but if you mean 10% per annum it's:
$982.40 * 34 / 12 = $2783.46 and two thirds of a cent.
The total repayment would, as expected, be that plus the $9824 and monthy repayments would be that gross total divided by 34.

A=9834^34*.10
A=10157.00 approx.

Ok-I take a completely different answer than the other two. May be figuring it incorrectly.
Here's the formula I used:
$9824 x 10%= $982.40
$982.40 divided by 34 = $28.89 per month within interest.(rounded to 28.90).

The total amount: $334016 + $33401.6 = $367417.6

First of adjectives:
Simple interest is paid once a year.
There are 12 months surrounded by a year.
So 34 months = 34/12 = 2.8333 yrs
34-12 = 22 yr 1
22-12 = 10 yr 2 and change...
so 2 yrs and 10 months.
Note that 10/12 yrs = 0.8333 yrs
So at 10 % interest you hold to calculate 1 year first:
$9824*10%= 9824*.1 = $982.4 per yr.
And you enjoy 2 yrs, so:
$982.4*2 = $1964.8 WOW!
And that 10/12 of a year?
This is how you do that.
$9824 * .1 * (10/12) =
982.4 * (10/12) =
982.4 * (.8333) = 818.63392
or $818.63
So add the two amounts:
$1964.8 + $818.63 = $2783.43
So the total interest is $2783.43
So you will settle up back a total of:
$9824 + $2783.43 = $12,607.43 Yikes!

MORAL: Just be glad it is not compount interest where on earth interest is charged on the remaining balance respectively MONTH!

I always see coins only laying adjectives over the place. I need give a hand. I would write out my problem but it's too much to even write about on this post.
