What documents do i need to open a new bank account?, plus, which is the best bank to open a standard account?
Answers: Which bank? you need to consider which bank has a branch close to your home/work. Which banks have a ATM in your area etc. In regard to ID believe me the requirment for opening an account increases almost daily I'm afraid, you can blame the money laundry guy for that I'm afraid. A ulitliy bill is no longer enough, they look at electral roles etc etc.You will need a passport and d/lic amongst other things, ask at various banks what id is reqd then you can everything together when you go to open your account and save yourself some time.
proof of address and identity, passport, driver licence, utility bill,
i would avoid the abbey as have had very bad experience with them
A passport or something similar and two letters with your address on it I open my account last month with Abbey and I am quite happy and you will get your card and pin in a few day. Don't try with Chelsea...they open account only to rich people and they are also quite rude.
In the U.S. you need a SSN or TIN( tax identification number). You need a primary picture id (Drivers license, passport, military id, firearm's license) and a secondary (credit card, or anything else iwith your name on it). Most of the time you need a minimun deposit. Other than that you're set.
I don't think there is a 'best bank' for a standard account. You will have to choose a bank that fits your needs.

How much money would I obligation to live on if I be to give notice my husband?
I'd have to take a mortgage for about lb40,000 and I hold two children.I'm a nurse and I'd find it difficult to work my shifts due to school hours and paucity of childcare so I'd have to find a different sensitive of job to fit contained by with institution hours.
I live in the UK and wouldn't qualify for any state benefits, but I do procure family allowance.
How much would you consider okay for a monthly income for one adult and two children - 9 & 3.
I also run a small vehicle.
Answers: Don't know how much you would need to live on.
But you should try and claim duty credits unless your income is over fifty thousand you will be eligible for some money from then!
What just about your husband helping financially.
He'll have to continue your children (by law)
Contact social services for further advice, I would be surprised if you weren't competent to receive some help contained by benefits.
you would get WFTC and CTC to put in to your income
I am a single parent of 1 and have a lb90000 mortgage
I worked out i needed lb1200 a month altogether for the mortgage and bills and car/living costs
yours will be smaller quantity because your mortgage payments will be less that partially of mine ( mineslb500 per month)
I worked as a carer for a number of years because its drastically flexible, the money is crap but you can get your charge credits which boosts it up
Try to get some upkeep too, he should be paying something for his children, I get a small amount but its better than nil
good luck hun x
a lb40,000 mortgage, you'd be looking at around lb250 a month over 15 years. You cant be too specific near rates going up and down all the time. Kids i hold no idea of, a small coupé won't be much, around lb300 a year insurance, lb100 a month fuel, lb110 a year tax.
I'd read out you need to be on at least possible lb1500 a month to live here in the UK anything your situation
You'll be fine, with maintanence from your ex for your 2 children (20% of his income) and relief from family toll credit and working tax credit (plus you carry 80% of your child care back) it'll be ok. This may nouns wierd but its not worth working full time as you can lose out on some working tax credit, the best is to work in the order of 25-30 hours a week. I know you need to be financially protected but happiness is worth more than that. Good luck and I hope it adjectives works out how you want it for you and your children x
