I trust this person but I am going out on a member because I don't know what other financial burdens they are under. You can have anything within writing you want, but when the "I don't have it, " or "can I pay packet it next week" starts, that's the handwriting on the wall that you will be getting screwed.

You simply plague in the blanks, next have it notarized, or signed contained by the presence of witnesses. If you're a Triple-A auto club member, getting a document notarized is smaller amount than $10.

She is borrowing money off you because she can't carry it anywhere else. Do you have evidence of her competency to repay? Do you know what her income is and her total expenditure? You can't lend money to someone if you don't know what other financial burdens they are under. That's ridiculous.
Banks ask for these details to prove the human being can repay. If they can't provide the evidence of their ability to repay, they don't draw from the loan. Why should you lend money to someone a bank won't lend to?
If you lend money to someone short doing your research, you deserve to lose it all. That's of late foolish. And if you lend money to this 'friend' after all the other answers urging you not to, you deserve to be ripped past its sell-by date.
COnsider it a financial gift, not a loan. You will never carry your money back.
