My domestic is surrounded by 1/3 of a million dollars surrounded by debt! Please help out!?
My story: In 7th grade, I have an eye disease which was extremely unusual to a child at that age. I had 7 surgeries(Costing around 5000 to 7000 dollars each) during 7th to 8th grade. 9th level (Currently in) is fine, and I am healthy presently. The surgeries also made us into debt already, and my dad owns a restaurant. He decided to borrow 100,000 dollars from the dune and made a 2nd kitchen for the restaurant. The sad article is, the investment did nothing for us but make us lose 1000 dollars a week. We own 2 restaurants, and one of them is in the marketplace right now. We also get 2 dogs to care of, and I just see my parents about 15 minutes a hours of daylight. Since we lose 1000 dollars a week, and this has be lasting around 3 years, it already adds up to 150,000 dollars, later the investment for the second kitchen which didn't work, was 100,000, later we got my surgeries which be about 50,000 dollars, This add up to about 1/3 of a million ( 300,000) dollars and counting. How could I solve this problem? Please!Answers: This isn't going to be solved by living cheaper - although living cheaper does assuage the burden, it doesn't get you 1/3 million.
He desires to run the restaurants differently.
Perhaps he's got too much on the menu, have to throw too many ingredients away? Too fancy stuff on the menu probably?
It's not something you can solve, by the way. 1/3 million - sorry, you can't even serve. I understand you are worried. Don't be. Your parents will rob care of you!
Due to your age you are restricted (probably surrounded by the restaurant as well) under child labor law. This is no doubt a trying time and situation for your relatives so do what you can to help around the house as it sounds they enjoy little time to do so. One important item you can do is learn from this as tons entrepreneurs go through this and sometimes the reward is not other monetary, but if they are doing the thing they love, other things will be pushed aside. Keep a upright open relationship near your mom and dad and don't be afraid to ask questions. It may be that they really close to one part of the business, but are not outstandingly strong at others (like financial matters). They may need outside assistance planning financial matters, but may be too proud to ask. Encourage them to succeed and be their root for success. There is without question that as an adult you will look vertebrae on this experience and be thankful for what you own learned from it.
