What do you consider a good pay raise in terms of percentage of your gross annual salary?

Answers: at least equal to the rate of inflation to keep your buying power the same. I got 3% this year and thought that was low, but in the same vein I got an amazing bonus, (10% of my salary) so it depends.

My boss' rationale was that since I'm already making 2x what some of my co-workers are making, he felt obligated to give more of a raise to them, (1% to me would be 2% to them) so the difference wasn't so great. Meantime my bonus was huge to compensate.

I accepted that answer.

If i cancel $5000 sooner or later, and $5000 the subsequent, does that count as one $10,000 transaction..?

...and get reported to the rule as such? I know they will report any withdrawal, etc, $10,000 or over, but if i do it within increments over a few days, will that count, or look suspicious and be reported?
i am trying to withdraw everything contained by my account, which is $20,000. For what is besides the point, it's not the bank business anyways. I deposited a check for 18,000, just cleared, and i want it out. How can i annul it without setting sour the red flags or whatever?
Thanks!

Answers: What difference is it if they do transport a red flag if everything is legitimate. It probably will not result surrounded by a red flag, but they are required to report any suspicous activity, so if it looks sneaky, even if its not 10K at a clip, they may report it. tba
yes, it will enjoy to be reported.
if you need the money why don't you catch a bank check?
It will be counted as two separate transactions. If the money is lawful, you should be able to annul the whole item at once. However, I do know that most banks want you to notify them ahead of time when you plan to repeal more than $5,000. This is because the bank singular keeps a indubitable amount of money at their location, so they'll need to request more money for renunciation. If this is your personal money, the bank will not notify the political affairs regarding this debt. It has nil to do with the senate.
I used to work in a hill.yes I would deem this a suspicious transaction because you're withdrawing so soon after the check cleared and you're trying to "hide" the withdrawals. Are you trying to move everything to another ridge? If so, you can ask them to issue you a bank check (and this approach you don't risk walking around with adjectives that cash). If you're trying to withdraw the dosh to stash it somewhere or whatever, consequently maybe walk to different branches (altho, if they're really paying attention to your article, they'll notice this as well). If you aren't surrounded by a rush to move the money, then do it over the course of a few weeks instead of a moment ago days. For example, go perchance once a week instead of every other day...if they ask, speak you're paying for a home repair or something. It will look suspicious, but they may not necessarily report it. It depends on how thorough your bank/ branch office is.

And you're right, its not the bank business what you're doing with the money since it is your money, my concern when I be working at the bank be having a customer at risk by carrying so much brass. For example, I had a customer who needed to withdraw over $20,000 within cash that she be transfering to another bank. She be robbed in the parking lot. She could've only just as easily gotten a check for this purpose.

NOTE to those above who say-so its not reported..anytime a transaction involving CASH is over $10,000 the bank have to file a report. So you depositing a check for $10,000 is no big promise.you wanting to cash a check for $10,000 is a different story. That much bread sets off red flags and near checks and debits cards agreed everywhere, its a bit suspicious of why you want to carry that much bread.
It has to be over $10,000, as within $10,000.01 or higher per business morning.

But, the bank might wallet a suspicious activity report. I work for a sandbank, and filled out ctr's and sar's adjectives the time.

If you can withdraw a cashier's check or some giving of official check, at hand won't be a problem. Does it have to be lolly?
