Unless you be in a coma, you should've have someone bring you your mail and checkbook so you could pocket care of it. Also, you could've call Macy's and informed them of your situation so they wouldn't think you be just a deadbeat. Now it's prolly gone into collections so you should a moment ago pay the collection agency but create sure to get everything surrounded by writing. Collection agencies like to suck as much money out of you as they can. Years after that, they may lose their records of you paying them past its sell-by date.

When you stop your 401k how long does it take before you can receive the cash?

Answers: You cant withdraw from your 401K until you hit 65. If you terminate your employment, you can roll-over your 401K into another brokerage at your new job but, if you cash it out you will have to pay all the taxes plus additional fees on the money... and thats only even possible if you've terminated employment. If its just that you've stopped contributing, you cant take anything out till 65.
You don't. Your 401(k) is a retirement fund. You don't take money out of it until you reach retirement age.

Did you not understand that when you started?

Why would you ever stop contributing to it?
You would have to check with your employer if you can stop adding to your 401K immediately or only at certain times. The same goes for withdrawals. Remember, if below a certain age, usually 59 1/2 you will receive a tax penalty plus the money you withdraw may put you into a higher tax bracket. You can borrow against your 401K for certain things such as a down payment on a house which is not a bad idea since the interest on the money you borrow goes into your account so you are paying yourself.

What is the difference between wallet single and wallet duplicate check styles?

I'm trying to order checks online and I hold to choose a check style- either wallet single or wallet duplicate. What is the difference? Thanks surrounded by advance.

Answers: Duplicates are next to a carbon copy underneath the original check. When you write a check and rip it out, there is a copy for your files below it. Comes in handy for when you forget what checks you hold written, and for when you want to balance your checkbook next.

Singles are just the check simply. You write a check, tear it out, and near is no duplicate, only the subsequent check.

I used to be with a credit alliance where they require you to hold duplicates and now i'm near a bank and enjoy singles. Sometimes I wish I have of ordered duplicates.
