Halifax edge, charges error, want sum counsel?

I bank next to the Halifax and i went within branch to cancel 2 direct debit a while ago, i was told these have been done and given an acknowledgement slip.

4 days ago, the two direct debit came sour, taking me overdrawn and the halifax slapped 2 x lb35 charges on my account. I call up and told them i had be in branch, cancelled the debit, and i want the charges removing.

The guy on the phone said he didnt have authorisatin, but get a supervisor and he told me he had reversed both charges and they would be on my picture within 2 days.

I phoned pay for 2 days later to find out why the charges werent final on, the guy told me only ONE charge have been reversed, not both of them, and even that be a "goodwill gesture". I told them its their mistake, he didnt want to know.

He then proceeded to report to me, it will be upto 10 working days for the money, not 2 days and there are NO exceptions.

This be a supervisor who told me he had done both, and 2 days. Im so annoyed in a minute, what to do?

Answers: Do not do it on the phone again. Always in writing which is the proof.

Now write to the Branch Manager and cc to Head Office exactly as what you are describing here. Clearly list out the date you went to the sandbank, phones made and to whom you have spoken to something like what. Be polite but firm in the reminder with subtle allusion that if this is not resolved as soon as possible, you will write to appropriate banking authority to lodge a complaint. Perhaps even mention more or less changing wall.

If there is a consumer tribunal (for complaints), convey a copy of the letter to them too.

Good luck because you obligation lots of them with bank!
Right get yourself pay for in to the branch and emergency to chat with the commissioner, ask for an explanation to why these DD where not cancelled despite you have a receipt. The bank can get that money stern by simply filling surrounded by a form. This has happended to several others.

Hope that helps
Uggh, why be you charged for Direct Debit? What'd you buy.
If you actually DID buy something, it's your responsibility.
Also, your spelling is horrible. =P
If it WAS their mistake in the first place that you be charged when you didn't even buy anything, raise hell. That may grasp you somewhere.
They've done it to me before, nick your acknowledgement slip into the Branch and demand they sort it. They can be heartbreaking.

Paper routes?

hello im 11 and i want to know what jobs could i do im a boy and want to eaRN MY OWN POCKET MONEY

Answers: Paper routes may be a possibility if you are surrounded by a suburban setting. Another idea is rake leaves, cutting grass (if your parents will tolerate you use the lawnmower), shoveling snow, babysitting, other yard work, wash cars. My brother and I even sold candy, sodas, chips, and ice cream out of our garage. One summer we made almost $800 doing that. There are a great deal of possibilities out there.
when i be your age i had a tabloid route, i mowed lawns and shoveled snow, cleaned gutters.

good luck.

Answers: This is not a job.

It is a scam that borders on criminal

And guess who the cops will find first (you)

A available job is something that you go and interview, later they make an proposal, you accept and show up.

This is a scam.

If it sounds too honourable to be true, it is.
scam,/spam
report it to the your bank and capture a credit report,,,
Yeah and you got this "offer" after you posted on a career board, right?

Here's the scam. Your money is real. They want to verbs stolen money to your bank details and have you rope them your clean money (money launder, ring a bell?). When the people who be ripped off try to find out where on earth their money went, the trail get only as far as you. You can be arrested unless you compensation 100% of the money you "processed."
