I had a friend who asked to acquire a loan for her because she was trying to buy a house and requirement to pay bad some bills fast. The loan be for 2000.00. Well, she has be paying on it because I rode her about it. in a minute she wont call me put money on and when I called the dune to find out the amount due on it they told me that is be 500.00. She hasn't paid since OCT 29, 2007. The ridge is threatening to take me to court over the issue. But, I can't afford to pay this because I enjoy no job right in a minute. I am a stay at home mom. My husband is in IRAQ so I really can't run out and get a situation to pay this bad. I dont' know what to do. Can I take her to small claims court for this or what can I do. We didn't sign a contract together because she be my friend and I didn't think it would be a problem. I preserve calling her but she refuses to answer her phone. I do hold proof she was paying on it through he side, Is that enough to embezzle her to court?Answers: Okay, i know you don't want to hear this buuuuuuttt,
It is a bank's business to loan people money. That is one of the biggest process of income for them. They love to loan money to ANYONE. Now, with that said, if they wouldn't make a contribution your friend any money, that should have thrown up a HUGE BRIGHT RED flag!
No situation though, you are already in this mess...presently to get you out of it.
I survey People's Court all the time and, though I know this doesn't fashion me a genius, I enjoy learned a few things over the years. First, you already said one of the most repeated statements on the show, "I didn't ponder I needed a contract, she is my friend..." Because you don't have a contract or even a napkin aphorism, "this is a loan, I will pay it stern, signed, your friend", you would be out in the cold. However, if you do indeed own proof of payments made by her (not cash unless near are receipts) for this debt, you then hold tangible proof that your "friend" feel obligated to pay this money backbone. It is then up to the mediator to decide whether or not this money be a loan. Any judge beside more than a mosquito's brain would know that you, broke, wouldn't give your friend, broke, $2,000.00 simply because you knew that she needed the money. You do not have need of a lawyer; only take her to small claims court.
Now want to speak something about your brave soldier husband, "THANK YOU for person a good wife for him so that he could be in motion out and protect my and your freedoms. You are both in my prayers as are your children."
E-mail me if you hold any questions.
If you live contained by a large city next to a University, call the University and ask to speak to someone within the Law School about.
Tell them you own a problem and can they help you pro bono (that manner for free).
Good Luck.
Now you know personally why everyone say to get it adjectives in writing (and also not to loan money to relatives and friends). Your situation is downright common, so yes you can try small claims court.
The reality she's putting money in is a help--but won't prove the amount or what your agreement was--still you enjoy a shot. Was there anything IN the loan documents nearly this being a loan to her? Did you impart her a check and put loan in the message?
Do you have any emails or other writing beside her about this situation?
Any other friends privy to what went on? Either in attendance for initial discussions, the passing of the money, or witnesses to transfer of funds or discussions about clearing?
Any of that would help. It's not a guarantee, however.
Can you do something contained by the interim to make some money to win rid of the debt? EVEN if you can get a acumen until the bank is salaried interest, penalties, etc. will accrue and you're not better stale.
Maybe you could do some babysitting or some errand running (what fun with kids). You are within a bad situation lucklessly, so I can't be overly positive.
For future suggestion, that she needed to borrow money to be able to obtain a house indicates her moral character: what she did be a form of fraud because you know she didn't report the loan from you to get her house. That she NEEDED the money indicated she be not able to afford her lifestyle. That she would try to verbs a fast one on the mortgage company reveals her personality. THAT is how you started to get adjectives.
First, you messed up.
Second, if you can't pay the $500 stale yourself I don't believe it. Your husband isn't paying income taxes on his earnings while surrounded by a conmbat zone. Just pay the loan stale and sue your friend if you feel close to it.
Never ever sign for a loan for someone else.
I am trying to apply for a credit card, but hold on getting turned down, what should I do?
I would like to build up some credit for the adjectives, but credit card companies would reply back and say aloud "you don't have satisfactory credit history". Right now I am paying rent, phone and sports car insurance bills ad I do settle up them on time.what should I do?Answers: Find a mound that has a secured credit card program. Citibank used to enjoy one. You deposit funds with the ridge and they issue a credit card with a target equal to your deposit. Use the card and make prompt payments and after a jiffy (I think it's a year) they bump up your limit and you hold free access to your deposit. They even pay interest on the deposit.
Just be sure to do it through a guard, some of the private offerings of secured credit cards have outrageous interest and some enjoy been particular to retain the initial deposit.
Here is a good informational site:

That happen to me too and its not good to preserve applying. Instead go to rite aid or your local pharmacy and at the counter they will own prepaid credit cards. You have to start at hand and buy one of those.
Then buy some things on the card and pay it sour and do that about 10 times and consequently apply for a card again and you'll be accepted.
Stop applying for credit cards. Two tons credit applications is the best way to completely ruin your credit rating.
You don't in actuality need a credit history to gain a home loan or anything. I had no credit cards, but a great in your favour history. That's what got me my home loan.
Banks similar to a good funds history because it shows you are good beside money. A credit history just shows that you know how to recompense a bill. Which do you think is better?
Skip the cards. Save some money surrounded by an emergency account -- right to be heard about $2000-- and use that as your 'credit card'.
Paying your other bills is a great means of access to establish a history as a good payer. Keep doing that.
Good luck.
Mortgage Lender file for liquidation?
What happens if my mortgage lender files for ruin? How will this affect my mortgage payments? Thank youAnswers: It won't affect your mortgage payments. This is how it works. If the mortgage lender files bankrupcy everyone gets fired except for a mitt full of people that can service the loans while the CEO is busy finding another company to steal over the loans. Worst case scenario, someone buys you loan and you dispatch your check to a different place every month.
