if i get a greendot card and someone else buys the top up money (like buys it and gives me the code).. will they grasp all my information close to name address ss# that i put contained by when i ordered the card?Answers: No, they do not get any information, not even your identify. This is what happens:
They would travel to the vendor, and purchase a "MoneyPack". They come within either preset denominations or you can set your own. They would wages for it at the register, the cashier will afterwards activate it / put the required denomination onto the MoneyPack. Then you can log into the website or beckon GreenDot customer service, enter the code located on the back of the MoneyPack (or on the receipt) and voilà, the money is immediately on your GreenDot card.
There is no transfer of information and technically, you do not even own to own a GreenDot card to purchase one.
