Can we Cash Out a Small UGMA Account?
Our child has a small (under $500) UGMA depiction that I set up years ago at a local bank. It earn almost no interest.The child is only 10 years weak. Can we just close out that tale and withdraw the funds?

The money is the child's. Using it for a purpose that is not strictly for the child is stealing. The best article to do is to open a college money (529) plan, close the UGMA and move the money to the 529 plan
