Answers: Your local credit union would be the best place. Get her started near good financial behaviour early, and you should never hold to loan her money in the adjectives!
Most banks would be ready to work with you on this project. The just issue would be the trustee. As a nine-year-old your sister is not old adequate to hold an account on her own and would own to have a trustee who is of age. The different states own different rules for the age of majority, but your bank will answer this grill for you. The trustee, if that is you, have a duty to the account and the trustor. They must control the account for maximum profitability and they must report to the trustor for all of the funds on a statutorily mandate time frame, but that again will be provided by the bank. The trust reason would be set up for a term interval...in this casing probably until your sister reaches the age of majority, later she can handle the details herself. Finally, the bank can be assigned as a co-trustee, this opening the management of the sketch can be handled by an officer from the mound who would ensure the maximum profit. Basically all that scheme is that the account would earn the proper amount of interest, base upon the type of savings commentary that was established.
Good Luck
To enlarge an account for your sister, you would enjoy to be over 18. Both of you would be listed on the side. All correspondence would be addressed to both of you, but you can own it sent to any address you like. Call the bank in your areas and ask around their savings accounts for minors. Get adjectives info like how much is needed for the first deposit, what forms of I.D. are needed for both citizens, any fees that come with the picture, and how many withdrawls you'd be allowed to enjoy each month in need a fee.
