Declining set off interest calculator?
I have an amount of money accrue interest, but will have to form payments out of that pool of money every month. Is there a passageway to calculate how much interest money I would create on that declining harmonize?Answers: I don't know of any calculators out there that will do this, but it's pretty comfortable to set up in Excel or another spreadsheet.
Example: You enjoy $100,000 in the sandbank earning 3% interest. Every month the portrayal pays $500 out for rent.
In cell A1 type $100,000
In cell A2 type =A1*(1+.03/12)-500
-ie plus the monthly interest minus rent
Then hold the mouse over the bottom right hand corner of cell A2 (where the little black box is) and drag that box down as far as you want. Each cell contained by the A column represents 1 month, starting with A1 self this month.
