okay he is dumb. he had no money within his account. so a couple of times he deposited blank papers within the ATM and withdrew altogehter $250. he said he needed it right away. i told him not to do it but he did it anyway. he say he intends on paying it back though. is he going to detain??Answers: Will likely run into overdraft. He will get surrounded by some sort of trouble, but I dont think he will walk to Jail.
yep. It's called fraud. He'd better gain that cash into the information asap and pray they don't arrest him.

Well NOW he really needs that bread right away to pay stern the bank. The guard will show negative on his vindication and hit him with overdraft fees. They might even freeze his article.
If he pays the overdraft and fees right away, he'll probably get away beside it. But frankly, he deserves some jail time for fraud or robbery. Or at least a flawless scare to show him the error of his ways.
I don't know if he's going to penal complex or not. It depends on how smart the bank is. Usually when you product a deposit at an ATM, the money is available for withdraw right away. Once the check is received at the wall, the teller will do their majority procedures to deposit the check. If it turns out that there is an error or they cannot deposit for anything reason, afterwards they will debit your account for the amount of the deposit. He will eventually own a negative $250 match that will be due.
Banks are usually very smart though. I would push for him to deposit the money into the account hastily.
The answer depends on numerous things: How long ago did it happen? How hastily can he pay the dune back the money plus overdraft fees, etc? How long will it pocket the bank to track what happen?
If he's lucky, he COULD get away next to it. Its possible the money could be back surrounded by the account up to that time it was really notice. He COULD pass it past its sell-by date as a "whoops, didn't realize I made the mistake... Here, let me fix it for you. My bad" item and if the bank is within a forgiving mood they may allow him to just clear the fees, etc and let him bad.
But yes, in proposal, he very possible could go to intern. Its fraud, its illegal, and its downright stupid. He'd own been better stale going to one of those pay-day loan, not quite a loan shark places and borrowing the money from here.
