Yep. For that kind of money I could live on a pittance surrounded by a foreign country, have the experience of a lifetime, and store most of what I earn, or give some away to charity.
While at hand are some countries in the world that are surrounded by tough times, depending on the area of those countries and the temper of the work, I would consider going to a more unstable country. Not all parts of countries suffering civil disturbance are dicey. If things got really unpromising, I could leave, but it would be better to stay and show some solidarity beside the other citizens of those countries by doing my bit.
