There are no ways to earn that much in a year except if:
1) you hold lots and lots of opportunities
2) you embezzle a extremely high risk and glorious invesment business
3) you have greatly of money to invest in the 1st place.

Go over every inch of the check and see if it have a "void on or after" date. If not, do as the above mentioned. Deposit it (that is, if your financial institution will even pilfer it) and let it sit. I'd offer it two weeks if it's a local check, four if it's non-local.
Good luck! You might even be able to bring back the dealership to issue you a new check. I'd truly try that one first. If it's money they owe you, they might actually follow through! Explain to them that you thought you have deposited it way support when, but just just this minute found it.

Put it into a savings reason and DONT touch it for a month to see if it cashes and then get voided later.
The total ordeal might cost you two bucks if the check is returned.
There is usually an expiration/void mark on most checks.
I would jjust purloin the check to the dealership and
have them reissue you another one.
This happen to me with a paycheck that be forgotten
for over 7 months and the company reissued me a new
one after I returned the weak one.

Don't try to take it to a dune and wait for it to clear.
The edge may charge you if it bounces.

Just ask your bank when you progress to cash it. Cheques are usually valid for 18 months.
