Do we own to compensate a debt that have be wipe rotten a credit report because it could not be validate?
We have be disputing several fraudulent items on my husband's credit report and many of them hold been removed by the credit bureaus because the creditor reporting the info be not able to verify or confirm the debt. However, we just get 2 bills over the weekend for 2 of those debts! Because the original credit could not corroborate this debt and it was removed by the credit bureau, how do we travel about not paying the bill? Do we contact them directly and notify them? Do we report them to the agency that oversees credit practices for harrassment? I don't want to keep getting bills surrounded by the mail for a debt to be exact not ours and that we do not owe! Do not nickname the collectors. Instead send them a certified, return acceptance letter indicating the debt is not yours and unless they can provide contracts and other documents that prove this is your debt inwardly 30 days, they should cease and desist contact you. They enjoy to stop contacting you.
Keep copies of the letter next to your important financial papers. It is imagined the collector will sell the debt past its sell-by date to another agency and you'll have to distribute another cease and desist message.
The credit reports are just that, reports - you could enjoy a debt that's not on there but you do still own to pay for it IF it is a valid debt. What I have it in mind is that just because the credit reporting agencies own acknowledged that they can't verify it that doesn't mean that the ethnic group who the money is owed to have. I'm assuming this is a credit card, appointment their fraud victim dept. - if this is a fraudelant debt that you didn't give somebody a lift on you DO NOT have to pay envelope it. This may take plentifully of phone calls and resolution on your part to bring back it taken care of though.
