Easiest Uk Bank To Receive a Debit Card from?
I've had a Nationwide bread account (basic dosh withdrawals) for over a year now, and for days gone by few months had a regular remuneration being compensated into it. When I applied for a debit card, they said my credit score be too low ( despite no previous credit cards, no bankruptcy ,overdrafts etc.), and to reapply surrounded by six months. Is it worth bothering? Or are there high-street bank less stingy when it comes to debit cards?Thanks.
Answers: If you do want a full Visa debit card try Barclays.their credit scoring process is seriously less than Halifax (I work for Halifax) so try them if they voice no your gona have to keep on im affraid. unless you want an easycash account near the Halifax. no credit score visa electron, can still use most places.

Do grocery stores cash paychecks?
Answers: Some do, some don't.
And there are quite a few restrictions that may be in play:
Most won't accept third-party checks
(i.e., checks written to someone else,
then signed-over to you; they are too easy to forge);
many won't accept checks over a certain amount
(i.e., you buy $1.00 worth of goods,
then ask to cash a check for $500.00;
who's going to hand over $499.00 for a $1.00 item?);
checks drawn from an unfamiliar, out-of-state bank;
etc.

How hard is it to claim bankruptcy, if you don't own a home?
Answers: It is pretty easy. I went through Chapter 7 in 2001. All you have to do is figure out how much you owe, find an attorney (mine cost $1,500) and go to court. Court is pretty simple. they will ask you a few questions that take about 5 minuites. As long as none of your creditors show up and dispute it, then you are done. ( If you owe Sears money, they will show up) It can take up to 10 years for it to clear off your record, but it don't always take that long. Mine is already off my credit. :) I was still able to rent apartments, buy a house and get credit cards so it is not as bad as people make it out to be. It is better to file for bankruptcy than it is not to pay your bills.
home owership has nothing to do with filing bk -- get your self a lawyer and go for it!
