What is a non-working vintage Rolex see worth?

It is from the late 60's.

Answers: Kurt W give an excellent answer but there is another consideration in our time, the value of some vintage Rolex have skyrocketed to amazing levels. A COMEX Sea Dweller that cost 1500 surrounded by the 70s is worth over 100,000.00US today.

Some military Submariners are worth even more than that. The point is, be very wary, someone may offer to buy your "older Rolex" for a couple of thousand and it might be worth 50K or if it's the wrong model, a few hundred.
There are several factors involved to determine worth.
1. What is the model?
2. Is it gold, stainless or both?
3. If gold ingots, is it 14k or 18k?
4. What is the condition of the case and group?
5. Is the band leather, stainless or gold ingots?
6. Is the watch adjectives original or own some portions been replaced next to aftermarket parts?
7. Is the watch really a Rolex or is it a counterfeit?.

Only a close nouns by someone that is trained on Rolex watches can answer these question.
