What is a Sheriff Sale?
A Sheriff Sale is an execution on a verdict that may be taken on Real Estate and/or Personal Property to satisfy a debt.
I hold no idea where on earth you live, so here's one set of answers which should be in the ballpark for you:

What happen to liens on the property?
Liens are "Marshaled" (placed in writ and paid within order), and paid from the public sale proceeds. A "Deficiency Judgment" is granted to the Plaintiff (Lien holder) against the Defendant (Homeowner) if enough money is not generate at the sale. The liens are afterwards canceled. Information on liens can be found by visiting the Clerk of Courts Office at the Court House (323 Columbus Avenue, 1st Floor, Sandusky, Ohio). The exception is a Federal Tax Lien which would be on wallet at the Recorder's Office (247 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky, Ohio). You are urged to check out liens and check with an attorney if you hold questions. We do not hold lien information at the Sheriff's Office.

A federal tax lien itself will be extinguished by the Confirmation Entry, but nearby is a separate right of redemption accorded to the Federal Government by statute, which entitles it to come in and claim definite property any time within 120 days after the signed confirmation is file with the Clerk of Court. If this should go down, the buyer's payment should be returned, however, the Federal Government is not required to payment for any permanent improvements made to such property contained by the meantime. Once 120 days have passed, the statutory right expires.

Will I own to pay any more money?
All costs are deduct from the sale proceeds. You may enjoy to pay for fees associated near filing your Deed, including verbs taxes. Check with the Auditor and Recorder something like these fees.

Only Real Estate taxes due are paid from the Dutch auction proceeds. In Ohio real estate taxes are compensated a year behind and are not prorated. The subsequent Real Estate tax bill you receive will be for the previous year, and you will be paying the toll for a period of time you did not own the property. This is address in our become aware of as written below.

The purchasers shall take such premises subject to adjectives taxes, assessments, interest and penalty charges.

What if someone is living contained by the house?
If someone is living in the house and will not vacate, the Sheriff's Office will remove them on issue of a "Writ of Possession," with the sole purpose after you file your work and are the owners of the property. You or your attorney must file a “PRAECIPE” beside the Clerk Of Courts to get the “Writ of Possession” issued. You will be responsible for providing the funds to enjoy their belongings removed. As a general rule most relations are cooperative and remove themselves from the premises, but if not the up front cost will be the responsibility of the purchaser.

When do we go and get the keys to the property?
The mart is not final until the Judge signs a “Confirmation”. The Defendant can redeem his property until the “Confirmation” is signed. If this happens, you will capture your deposit returned. We must receive a “Judgment Entry” that the sale is set aside, and to return the deposit.

The Plaintiff’s Attorney prepares the "Confirmation” and submits it to the Judge for review and signing. This process have taken at least a month or even longer. If you are contained by a hurry, you may be disappointed.

When we receive the “Confirmation” we will call you. At that time you will own 8 days in which to compensate the balance of the money or the Court will charge you 8% interest. The harmonize must be paid inwardly 30 days of the time you are notified or you could be charged next to contempt of court. As soon as the money is paid the action will be given to you. You are not the owner until you file your achievement.

We do not receive keys for the houses. You are prompted to get a locksmith to enter the house and revise the locks, or you can do it yourself after the deed have been record and the property has be vacated by the previous owner. It is unknown how plentiful, or who, might have key to the house. This is for your security.

Again, consult an attorney.

When can we see the house?
ALL SHERIFF SALES ARE SIGHT UNSEEN. We do not receive key to any of the properties and have no access to the interior of the houses for mart. No arrangements may be made for an internal inspection of the properties either past the sale by you or after the public sale by your bank or mortgage company appraiser. You are urged to check out the property as best you can.

The County Auditor can provide a printout on the property (also available on the Auditor's pattern page). Sales are BUYER BEWARE. You are urged to consult with an attorney.

How many of you save your money every paycheck and have a lot in there?

Answers: Every month I put the maximum I can into my 401k. I also pay extra on my mortgage each month and I put money in the bank each month which I eventually move into my brokerage account where I invest in stocks. Right now I like Zoltek which makes carbon fiber used in wind turbines. Those suckers are going up everywhere.
Hmmm. at one time, yes. Now, I'm not able to. I'm trying to pay down credit card debt and other bills. Once that is caught up then I'll be saving like crazy again.

I am saving for 401K. 10% every pay period. :-)
I do save money every paycheck- both for 401(k)/ retirement, and into my emergency fund. I guess some people would think I have a lot in there, and some wouldn't- kinda depends on their perspective. But hopefully I won't be eating snack ramen in my golden years...
