Are suddenly putting money into a 401k side for me? The amounts listed for the 401k comp own been equal to the paycheck itself. Thanks for your give support to.

Will my PF deduction be tax. My work tenure have be Company-1 (4yrs), sabattical (2yrs), Company-2 (3yrs)?

Answers:   You have in a minute become eligible for the 401k. The entry on your check is the portion of your check that you are eligible to defer into the 401k; if you so choose. There is some compensation that your company pays it's employees to be exact not eligible for 401k deductions (likely bonuses, commisssions, etc). So if you bring back paid any of that amount it wouldn't show up on the eligible compensation pasture.

but no, they are not putting any money away for you or taking any money from you. At least not base on that specific line item.

It sounds approaching it is a payroll notation that show which portion of your paycheck counts as eligible compensation for your 401K. For example, your salary or wages are compensation that would be eligible, but something resembling a per diem payment or possibly a bonus would not. So if your remuneration for the week is $500 and your 401k comp is $500, that means that you can trade name a contribution of that amount towards your 401k.

Some employers do take home contributions to a 401k account for force but it would never be equal to your whole check. You should telephone call you HR department to find out more about the plan and how to contribute.
