Call and ask for the arrangments within writing or offer automatic withdrawls for the payments. DO NOT CEASE COMMUNICATIONS beside the agency. This is drawing the line surrounded by the sand, and they can contact you one more time to communicate you they are taking it to court. In court mention you had arrangments, but typically the court finds you owe the money.
If they are indeed threatening you, contact a consumer attorney knowledgable beside the FDCPA and sue them. I think you will find the collector that made arrangements didnt notate the article properly - easy fix newly call. Good luck and don't donate up on the agency - they wont give up on you :)
