As to why they are quoting you different rates, I would check your mortgage documents. If you chose the irregular rate mortgage, then it will travel up and down depending on where the ridge rates are set...so you could have started next to 6%, but rates have gone up...or, if you are unpaid on a payment, they may be charging you a surplus...
Per Diem : Amount of debt X Interest Rate Divided by 365 days and X by number of days since finishing payment.

It's great that you want to start abiding now. I started much younger than you. My father open up a savings report at our local bank below my name. Since you're 16 and not 18 you can't own a checking account. So a hoard account is what you can hold. It's nice because they give you interest on your money! While your money is sitting in that, the bank give you a certain amount and puts it into your article. :) See which banks give higher interest rates. Try and obtain atleast 1 - 3 % interest rates on savings accounts.
Setting goal will encourage you to accumulate as well. My hope was to recover up money for the up coming x-mas holiday. I asked all my relatives and friends what they really considered necessary, and if I saved up satisfactory, then I'd know how to get it for them. It be nice, since they didn't expect it.
Another goal you could own, is saving up to buy your own coup¨¦. That way you won't enjoy to rely on your parents. :) Once you've got the vehicle, then you'll necessitate to save up for insurance, gas, etc.

Depends on how long you want to store. Here are my suggestions.
#1 - You want to hold it for a short time (a few weeks)-
