I will shop around online until that time I buy a bigger or more expensive item - camera, tv, even sometimes DVDs or whatever. But, if you expect driving around to different stores to find the best price? No, I don't do that. Gas is too expensive these days so you fall up paying in gas what you save on the item. Depending on the item, I'll sometimes call a few stores to find out their price.

I have a sneaking suspicion that it's worthwhile, again depending on the item. (For groceries, buying the no name brands can put in up to a big savings.)
