bounced check?
Question:this is the first check i have ever bounced and i don't know what will evolve. i sent in the e-mail my rent check for the month of july and it did not go through, do to reckless checkbook-keeping on my part. my innkeeper is through a realtor, and i do not remember what they said more or less bounced checks when i signed the lease. what do you suppose would happen? can i only send them another check or do i hold to come up with another method of transfer of funds? i have the money presently, so a check now would not be a problem. i have a feeling so horrible...but of course, these things ensue right? :-/Answers:
These things happen to most of us at one point or another. The exalted thing is you hold the money now to settle up your landlord. If you can repay him the cash so they don't own to wait any longer. But take a receipt. They will probably also charge you for the NSF cheque. If this is the first time, they probably will allow you to repay by cheque still. In the future ring up them before appendage to let them know to hold the cheque afew days past they deposit it. Or even put a stop payment on the cheque. Most landlords don't hold a problem if you are running short once in awhile as long as you consent to them know before paw.

Either channel, call them and apologize and explain to them what happen, show your good will and I'm sure they'll be grasp, its not like you're asking for more time to settle up, you have the money.
