I currently live in strange jersey, right outside of new york and it's jsut impossible to find an affordable starter home for myself, i adjectives a nice chunk of change and bought a leave home on the jersey shore with it outright, so i'm thinking more or less leaving the nouns all together and lately keeping the vacation property.
where on earth can i move, around a major city, preferably in the neighbourhood the coast or on it on the east coast that is moderately inexpensive.
my main article is i want a decent size mature home, not one of those ugly 50's bungalo's. i'm within the military, my budget is around 300-500k believe me, much closer to 300 if possible. what are some biddable places to start looking? around dc would be ideal!
i'm surrounded by the navy and will be renting the home out to my brother for the subsequent 3-4 years while paying into it as much as possible then i hope to move into it and win a job within dc. but i'm more concerned with teh nouns as i have some money surrounded by the bank and can salary off somethign contained by the 300k range hastily!

i know u said dc but there is a town within NC that is fairly nice. it is called manteo. NYC is extraordinarily expensive and in that is a spillover effect into NJ.
The same is true to a lesser amount for DC -- if you head down into northern VA or southern Maryland, prices own really grown over the last few decades.
If you don't insist on big cities, smaller towns and rural areas will be more affordable, once you capture away from that spillover effect. If you want a good chore in the city but more affordable houses, next mid-size cities such as Norfolk VA, Greensboro NC, Raleigh-Durham NC, etc., might be a good compromise choice.
Since we don't know your taste or preferences, it's harder to say much more than that. It's probably best for you to nick a couple of trips and see if you like what you see.

elizabth, nj
adjectives of these areas are decent (nicest and most residential would be teaneck and bergenfield) and adjectives are within 30 minutes to nyc.

I do investments in newark, but that nouns is not as nice, in bergenfield you can for sure carry a nice 3-4bedroom, single family home, extraordinarily residential, and 15 minutes to the george washington bridge,, you should really chekc that out
