I am moving next year to the UK, and hold been looking at rents contained by different cities. Does PMC after a price mean a monthly rental price or a weekly rental price?
I don't know even so to which city I'll be going, I'm just trying to achieve an idea of costs.

PMC as asked (not PCM as answered) could be for Property Management Company.

Sorry but this still doesn't make sense to me. If the acronym is PMC, it would be Per Month Calendar, caring of a backwards way of maxim Per Calendar Month. If that is the skin, why not make the acronym PCM instead of PMC.
Per Month Cost make more sense to me that anything else, as it's the only item that all the junk mail are in the right command for the acronym in ask...

This is PCM which is Per Callender Month. This channel you pay your rent on - e.g. 26th of respectively month and not strictly monthly - i.e. every 4 weeks. It's PCM. It means "per calendar month". You pay cheque the same amount on like day of respectively month of the year.
it means that its the price Per Calendar Month, i,e you pay cheque the rent on a set date every month, you usually have to settle up a months rent in mortgage, plus deposit, plus any fees that varies from company to company for search, and credit checks, so make sure you take the full price upfront.
Some may even ask for a small deposit to hold the property
