Hi, I rent from my fiance's parents. We live in a trailer on "their" home. The house isn't contained by their name. It is contained by my fiance's and his brother's name because they needed to avoid paying medical bills. He doesn't want to evict me. I have be paying them cash for rent for the finishing year and there is no signed lease agreement because they are on social deposit and don't want to claim any income. They claim that they are going to put all of my stuff out within front of their property (they don't have a switch to my trailer), and call the sherriff to bring in sure I leave. I own an 11 year old daughter who lives here beside me. They only want to evict me because my fiance and I are going through some problems but he won't right to be heard anything to go against them. I own paid my rent! What can I do? I own no where to shift until I can save some money to find somewhere else. I am alarmed that I am going to be homeless. Please Help!
Answers: you are a month to month tenant w/ rights..but why would you want to stay where you are not warmth.
go find your own place on your own jargon..everyone you've mentioned..is trying to skirt the "system"..
"don't want to pay medical bills."dont want to claim income"...
This is the mode of family you want your daughter to be a part of a set of??
Go find a place where in attendance are grown ups who behave like responsible grown ups.
crash on your parents' couch..within are places .I'd be gone before foggy.and long before their low-life attitudes affect my kid.and influence her moral barometer.
You want to know what your states laws are governing "squatting" and if your boyfriend and you enjoy been cohabitating, what the states law are governing "common decree marriage". Those two area's might provide you some protection for awhile. I suggest you find out right away. Unless they are the owner or a secured creditor of the owner, they can't have you evicted from the trailer. A secured creditor is someone who have lent money to the owner which is collateralized by the property, typically a bank or money and loan.
However, since the trailer is parked on your fiance's parents' property, they would have the right to force the trailer to be moved.
If I be you, I'd dump the fiance and look for other arrangements. They all nouns like physical pieces of work to me.
The parents are not the legal owners of the property nor are they party to the lease agrement that you have. They can not lawfully do anything. Anything they try to do would be harassment on their section and you could likely acquire legal protection from directive enforcement authorities. You should probably seek counsel from an attorney, ie. Legal Aid First If you own a relationship with God through Jesus Christ start praying forthwith. Second ask you fiance's parents for forgiveness and ask them could they give you a bit more time like a month or so. Save your money, if you enjoy a car use it to deliver pizza everyday until you bring back the money that you need to move. Pray Pray Pray
Is the trailer on the parents ground? if so they have every right to remove the trailer and it's contents, including you and your contents. Since you do not enjoy a lease you actually hold little to no rights at all, adjectives they have to do is bequeath you a written 30 day see to vacate.
The trailer can be in anyone's pet name, it is the owner of the land the trailer is parked on that have the say.
