We have wooden floors and we are letting our apartment. Therefore we do not want the tenant to ruin the floor. we have see a sign - picture of a ladies high heeled shoe near a red line through it..but we don't where on earth to buy one from. Thanks.
Answers: Good luck enforcing that one
try a complex ware store Try Searching the internet for "no high heels sign"
Also try a graphics scour.
Sorry u are in a rude awakening.
numeral on refinishing ur floors.
cause a 'no soaring heel' clause will not make ur place lease competent nor will it hold up in courts.
in recent times figure on refinishing floors.
Make your own sign! I've attached a correlation to a pic with a large heel with a diagonal column through it.use MS Word or Photoshop or any photo editing software and just add on whatever words you want to it. Then print it out on a color printer and step to a FedEx/Kinko's shop and have it laminated.
Of course, freshly because you put up this sign, there's no law that say people can't hike around your rented apartment with heels.unless you specify it on the rental contract.
I can share you now, you can't do that.
That is not permitted to require someone to remove their shoes..that falls under "lifestyle" at hand are some religions that do/do not remove their shoes for various reason.
If you want to protect the floors, buy area rugs.
You can't buy one, you'll hold to pay to enjoy one custom made, but there is no point to it.
If you are THAT paranoid just about the apartment being diluted, then renting IS NOT for you. You will enjoy damages of some type...that is quantity of renting.
You think high-ranking heels are the only point that will ruin a floor? How about spilled liquid, wrong cleaners, dropping heavy things, scooting furniture that will mar it moving furniture contained by and out, etc.
PS: Just because you put it in the rental contract does NOT equal court. Too many Yahoo "wannabe" lawyer spitting out that very incorrect counsel.
Put it in the lease and give an account them verbally. You can't do that. Why don't you a moment ago put carpet contained by there or buy nouns rugs?
