Where can I find information on my home online?

I want to find information on my home online for free. I want to know previous owners, and stuff like that. If its not online next please don't tell me, i already know how to at librarys and stuff. =]

Answers:    This depends on nouns, some areas have it online for free, but not within my city. There is a hefty fee for access to that info.
Its not on splash. real estate agents own access to services that will list previous owners. if you know one, ask him/her to win you the info.
Call your title company for a property profile or prelim.
sometimes, they will give this to lay ancestors.

But otherwise, go down to the country recorder.
and another possibility. Is REDLOC..cost a lot
of money to hook up beside them.

Best bet..do some walking down to the recorders organization.
Some counties have it planned under the assessors page - others are rather private about it. Go you your assessors home page and look for things similar to tax library - it can be listed by address or label or parcel number. My county gives it ALL including the price rewarded (this only during the end 3 years). The next county over will just let you access by parcel number - which keep people from questioning to stalk or harass public official. You would have to ring your Realtor and ask if he or she could order a "fasten of title" search within order to procure this information. chain of title is the sequence of historical transfers of title to a property.

The "chain" runs from the present owner vertebrae to the original owner of the property. In situations where on earth documentation of ownership is important, it is regularly necessary to re-erect the chain of title. To facilitate this, a narrative of title documents may be maintained by a registry department or civil law notary as ably.
