Where I can I find instructions for the Tom Hopkins card trick?

Answers:    the trick is not a trick but really a demonstration of how to stay in control by asking question.

Have someone pick a card. [for example we say 4 of Clubs]

Tom, in a minute in a typical deck there are 52 cards, correct?

And surrounded by the normal deck in attendance are 4 suits, clubs, diamonds, spades and hearts, right?

two are red and two are black, would you enunciate your card is red or black? [black]

now contained by the black suits there are the spades and the clubs. Would you enunciate your card is a spade? [no]

then that leaves clubs.

Now surrounded by a suit there are 13 cards, 3 are frontage cards and 9 are numbers. Would you say your card is a obverse card? [number] great, then that leaves numbers.

In the numbers in that are the low numbers, Ace through 5 and the High numbers 6 through 9, Tom, is your card a high card or a low card? [low]

very soon in the low cards in attendance are the even numbers 2 and 4 and the odd numbers, 1, 3 and 5. Would you articulate your card is even or odd? [even]

Now great we are down to in recent times two cards, the 2 and the 4 of clubs, would you say you hold the two of clubs? [no]

then that leaves the 4 of clubs - is that right?

wording is nto exact, but it works, even for me!
