How do you find out how much a house was sold for in a fore-closer sale?

Answers: If you mean foreclosure sale, check the county records.
A lot of the websites post them. Like HUD homes here in Illinois..HMBIREO.com has a section with the bid results and you can see what it sold for. That site serves a few states and if you can't find your's it should direct you to the correct site, Good Luck!

Parents divorcing, can we buy their house?

My boyfriend's (and soon to be fiance) parents are getting divorced after 24 years of marriage. They own a house surrounded by san francisco, which the mother would like to provide, the father does not have the money to buy her out. What are the likelihood that my boyfriend and i could buy both parents out of the house, or would it work the same as them selling us the house. It would be more practical for us to buy their house than to turn find another house to buy, which we had already planned on doing anyways!

Any suggestions?
And if we be able to buy them out, do we lug out normal ridge loan or mortgage to do so?

Thanks for any suggestions you have!

If i missed anything freshly let me know and i'll post an gag :)

Answers: Buying them out would be the same entry as them selling it to you. Their divorce or separation agreement would stipulate how they would have to split the proceeds. You can give somebody a lift out a standard mortgage to do so through any bank or mortgage company, assuming that you qualify for the loan. You don't involve to have physical estate agents involved in the process. It can be done as a For Sale by Owner transaction. The mortgage company or dune will be able to recommend a title company to use to ensure the transaction is completed accurately and you receive clear title to the property. Without a purchase contract you would enjoy to resolve any problems with the property's condition next to your boyfriend's parents so you may want to have a property inspection done depending upon your education of the property and whether or not you would be willing to incur the costs of any repairs that would become your problem after the public sale. Of course, if he has a accurate relationship with his parents this may not even be an issue. I with the sole purpose mention it because I've seen that type of problem arise surrounded by a sale between family circle members earlier.
used to live in SF! yeah

you may buy it if they aspiration to sell
it and you can receive any terms
they agree to--including
no money down if they agree.

or you can purloin over the mortage
if the lender agrees.

all those option are available!

I suspect I'm living within an risky apartment. What should I do?

I recently asked a put somebody through the mill about the authenticity of not being competent to receive mail at a crypt apartment.

Many people suspected that she is not reporting the rent as income, and that this is an unfair unit. This suddenly puts alot of strange things into a in order little picture, such as why she doesn't want to call anybody for any considerable repairs (such as the broken dryer, or clogged toilet), why there is no built within heat, no full sized fridge for three society, and no stove.

Tomorrow we're going to check the Arlington housing people to see if she have a permit for this place. If she doesn't, what does that miserable for me? If one of the neighbors call attention to us living here, could we be charged next to something? Would we be kicked out with nowhere to walk?

What are our options?

Answers: first of adjectives the reason your landlady doesn't spawn repairs is not because the suite is illegal but because she doesn't want to spend her money. It is not a criminal resentment to have an unofficial suite but it is against city bylaws and if they find out they will probably just trademark her register it so they can charge more taxes. and they may also inspect it and make her fix it.
One road to get around it would be for her to speak you are family or related and later it's okay for you to live in her crypt..
as for her not reporting the rent as income that is a federal sin and the IRS could charge her.
you can get correspondence delivered but you must place a mailbox by the landladys box and place your describe on it. then you would use impossible to tell apart address as your landlord and freshly ask the mailman to place any mail to that surname surrounded by your box. You are stuck with the poor conditions , and you be aware of them when you rented it... you can't be charged with anything but if someone complains or reports her later you could be evicted.
Yes, you will be kicked out. The landlord will own no option. You hold 30 days, and yes, you have to recompense rent for those 30 days.

The landlord can not rent until they buy their building permits, which could hold months.
privately or covertly, contact the
city housing or planning dept
and ask if your address is licensed
or PERMITTED as a site with
a rentable underground room.

The city will tell you surrounded by minutes.
if not, you own 2 choices--

a; leave as what you own
is a 'CONSTRUCTIVE EVICTION'
and sue for the return of all your rent!

b; stay and hire your own keeping and take it out of
your rent--u must, using this
process-give the manager 30 days to remediate any complaint.

if they do not, you must pay to enjoy it repaired and you with hold that
from your rent.

since you own no heat, that
is grounds for the CE I told you more or less.
you have to hold AC for
summer and heat for winter--that
is the law--everywhere!
Landlord is right. A underground store apartment is almost never legal. I am a hotelier in PA
