Landlord not reporting rent as income?

After doing some research, I've come to find out that my landlord have no permit for the underground room apartment I'm living in. On top of that, we've get double the amount of people living down here than is officially recognized for an accessory dwelling surrounded by the state of Virginia.

Answers: report it to the IRS...permit them figure it out. i see plentifully of MYOB..but this is tax fraud...which adjectives USA citizens pay for...it's also State charge fraud which we all retribution for. This is no different than the creeps that sell food stamps or cheat the state medical charge. Why should 1 person own added tax free income at the toll payer expense? This is a crime...do your duty as a citizen.
