Landlord didnt fix furnace right in a minute keep asking if we want to buy the house?
My landlord is a do it yourselfer and replaced our heaters near 110's on a 220 circuit. It never heats up particularly well in a minute and I keep unfolding them I am paying more for electricity but am always cold and want them to fix it right. They just keep hold of asking if we want to buy the house. Are they just trying to procure out of paying for the right heaters? Shouldnt a professional be installing them? It took him 3 trys to get it right when he installed them.Answers: You don't influence where you live, and don't right to be heard whether you have a lease or month to month, but I would speak send your proprietor a certified letter stating that the heaters don't work and that if they don't find fixed, you are moving--give him 30 days notice and move!

I would call upon the fire department, they do free inspections, and could tell you if you are within danger, and this would be incentive for him to fix them. Or, you could move the oven to a 110 outlet if it is portable. Won't help your electric bill though.

Answers: Housing surrounded by downtown Vancouver can be costly, as compared to other parts of Canada. Perhaps due to the large population of Asian (especially the Chinese) at hand that drives up the price.
Rental may be wiser. But again, you have to consider resale advantage of the unit should you purchase. If the resale price is upright, either impossible to tell apart or higher than selling price, than it may be better to purchase as compared to rental. Provided you can affort it.
Housing is rididulous. We bought our house for 1.3m within '98, now it is assessed at 3.1m. There is a 50 year ripened house down the block from us. One floor and a basement, not attractive, looks pretty run down, but because it is on a quarter acre lot (which within my opinion is still really small) sold for 1.9m. We live on the west side, but it still isn't by any method one of the upperclass neighbourhoods. Houses on the east side still easily be in motion for 1m.
Eating won't be a problem at all. But near are so many other things more or less Vancouver that might drive you away. It rains, A LOT. I can't touch it. Day after day, 10 months of the year (not that the summers are rain-free anyways)
Rent. House prices will stir down soon. Or, you could be optimistic (or I don`t know pestimistic) and hope that we have that hugeeeeee earthquale we are expecting... that will noticeably bring the house market down... along next to everything standing.

Second, she didn't know about who is responsible for the maintance of roof even on the daylight of house inspection.
And the last and the worst of adjectives, she is calling my office, wife, and advocate to finalize the contract. .
