Renting Real Estate Questions and Answers

Apartment or townhouse for rent?!?

I'm looking for an apartment or townhouse in Snohomish County surrounded by Washington. I have a Staffordshire Terrier, and disappointingly most (if not all) places have breed restrictions so I am looking for a townhouse to rent. Can anyone please give support to me with this. We probably stipulation to look for a townhouse to rent just because of our dogs breed, it is ridiculous. So please relief me if you can! We need to move out inside the next week or two.Maybe even a condo if we can bring our dog. Thank you so much!

Answers: There are adjectives KINDS of websites for finding apartments, and you can search using criteria close to "accepts dogs" and sometimes even specific breeds. I've used www.rent.com, www.apartmentguide.com -- but nearby are many more. You can also look at the craigslist website for your nouns.
A lot of places SAY they have mass or breed restrictions, but judging from some of the rottweilers I've see at MY apartment complex, enforcing that restriction is a integral different matter.

PS -- I'm not sure if it'll relieve, but if you take out extra liability insurance that covers your dog (even if he's as safe as a kitten), this might go a long route toward getting places to let you contained by. There's a guy in one of the downstairs apartments surrounded by the building I'm in and HE'S get a Staffy puppy that'll lick you to death.
I recommend http://www.washingtonrenters.com a local apartment and homes for rent query engine that aggregates listings from other classifieds boards and sites.

Other sites that you may use are: http://www.mynewplace.com, http://www.apartmenthomeliving.com and http://www.hotpads.com

Enter '98252' in a furrow field. If you receive too many results get thinner down by desired price range. adjectives of these sites have advanced query feature and typically include pets preferences (I know www.washingtonrenters.com does for sure.)

Good luck!

Does the VA offer a 40 year mortgage?

Answers: no they don't .And run from that time period to pay off a home.
The monthly saving in pmt just isnt worth it any ways.
If it does, DON'T TAKE IT. That is a terrible idea. If you need a 40 year mortgage, then you are buying too much house.

You will pay for that house 6 or 7 times over with all the interest.
you save very little in the monthly payment when compared to the 30 yr loan

Can i get a loan in my name but have mine and my wife's name on the title of a house?

Answers: Yes, My husband is the only one on the loan but we are both on the mortgage.
Yes. Depending on which bank you apply at and your wife's credit score, she can either show on the loan papers as "Non borrowing spouse" or the bank will make her quitclaim her interest to you. Then, after your loan closes you can quitclaim it back to the both of you. All this does is put the bank's interest to the house ahead of hers.

Call a loan officer and explain your situation to them. Try to avoid mortgage brokers if you can. They can be snakes in the grass. Go directly to a bank and see what you can qualify for.
Yes, but you must qualify for the loan using just your income to satisfy the debt-to-income ratio criterion.
