I and my girlfriend were cleaning vacantion villas together.She will capture form 1099 Misc from tha company we cleaned for.The contract was only just between company and her.So can she send another for 1099 MISC to me for 50% of income timetabled on form 1099 MISC she will get from company?

So i just bought my first home surrounded by Dec, Im having it remodled previously i move in the renovations are almost done and some crack head break into my home and steal the brand new a/c element all the copper pipeing door handels anything metal they could lug. They took the contractors tools and supplys. they flooded the basement. I call the police they took finger prints.I called my home owners insurance and they told me they will not insure anything and they are going to undo me because i have not moved surrounded by to the house yet.. What the hell. I be having $26,000 worth of work done on the house how the hell be i able to live surrounded by the house..does anyone have any suggestions or any guidance please help im lost..


Answers: This does not nouns right. If you had insurance on the house, it should not thing if you were living within or not. The contractor should have their own insurance to cover their losses, but, if you enjoy insurance, the robbery loss should be covered. The only method they could cancel you is if you substandard to pay them. Call Legal Aid Monday morning.

First, you are not responsbile for the contractor's tools...they should own their own insurance to cover that.

Second, if you took out hazard insurance and did not move into the property and the insurance company believed that you be (b/c they won't issue a full policy on a house that is vacant), consequently that is a things representation and a legal explanation to deny your claim.

They have OTHER types of insurance that would own covered it.you just get the wrong one.
Your contractor will have his own insurance to cover his items.

However, you should hold notified your insurance agent that you be having chief renovations on the property and would not be living there. Then the insurance agent could own helped you safe and sound a proper policy for the home - one that covers the property during construction.

The insurance company accepted the risk believing that you be going to be living there - when you be not. This is a material misrepresentation -- and a purpose to void your policy.

In PS -the standard home owners policy specifically excludes coverage for theft/vandalize for a home that has be vacant for 30 days or more.
