How much should I insure a 2 bedroom condo for?

I want to buy insurance for a 2 bedroom, 1150 square foot condo in Orange County, California. I am interested contained by knowing how much coverage to buy to cover inside damage due to a misfortune like a fire for example. I don't caution about coverage for personal belongings or outside of the building. I of late need to know what it costs to restore the inside walls, floors, etc. contained by case they are ever destroyed.

Answers: Your insurance agent will insist on you on this. They may be a little over priced, but worth while. Often the price of the condo is what you insure against damages. Plus that will usually recompense for most of the personal belongings, unless you have something that is to say out of the norm or unique.

You should own had to go and get insurance on the unit when you took out the mortgage.
While you aren't required to provide insurance on a condo because they are covered beneath the HOA's blanket insurance policy you might want to check with your HOA to find out exactly what their insurance covers. Some strictly cover the exterior with the sole purpose and you are required to provide renters insurance for theft, fire etc.

My HOA's insurance not simply covers the outside but it also covers the interior of my unit they will restore the section to it's original condition upon purchase if the building is destroyed. However, if at hand is a fire in my element and its isolated to my unit solitary then that's where on earth my insurance comes in. I fetch $50,000.00 for interior repair and $40,000 content insurance. However, your insurance agent will advise you of what they ponder you should carry to cover you, since you are roughly only getting interior insurance it's more close to renters insurance and is a lot cheaper than home owners insurance.

You might craving you carried content insurance if your condo ever gets robbed, or your neighbor upstairs have a huge flood and your furniture and belongings like TV, Computer etc capture destroyed. The cost to replace those items can be a lot if you hold to pay out of pocket.

Move out of house?

I’m renting a house and the contract was over on 12//2007
and I bestow a deposit of $1,300
and the manager/ owner has the bias of not giving back the money
what can I do. To grasp it back

Answers: If your contract have expired, I'm assuming you're on a month-to-month basis... After reading the contract (since the jargon should still be valid even on month-to-month, give WRITTEN thought in the time frame required... Send a certified copy to your tenant in attachment to delivering one contained by person (if possible surrounded by your case) stating "As per our conversation on January____, 2008 I will be vacating the premises on ____ and would close to to do a preliminary walk through the hours of daylight before so I enjoy time to address any issues that might be brought to my attention. " Take pictures with a digital camera beside the date feature turned on! If you have need of to go to court, those will be priceless... And finally, form sure you have a signed copy of your stroll though check list next to the landlord's signature showing there are no issues...
Read the rental contract. Is the deposit refundable? If it is and the tenant will not give it to you appropriate him to small claims courts. If it is in the contract you will win... unless the tenant claims all the money be needed to repair the damage you did to the element.
